"Hm, that's pretty cool. Landscapes are always a good choice to explore with. And seeing how that comes out with acrylics sounds pretty interesting." They had remembered how some of their earlier projects had mostly focused on acrylics - even though it is something they do return to every so often when requested.

"Yeah.. yeah, I definitely would be uh.. prepared for whatever you need to do in this case. Cause this being is coming closer and closer from what I see. Trying not to be noticed but.. still has a way of standing out anyway."

At their warning, Jordan manages a sly and subtle glance over his shoulder at the stalker, as if something outside had caught his eye, then he turns back to Z, a slightly feral grin on his face. "Oh it's definitely what I think it is, so I know exactly what to do." He stands up abruptly. "Thanks for being my cover. Name's Jordan."

The accusation isn’t unfounded. Feyd's hoard consists of: one apartment he doesn't sleep in, a collection of knives he definitely uses recreationally, and somewhere between four and eleven dollars in loose change depending on the day. The screaming rat pin is new. The juul is not technically his in any meaningful sense of the word. No baked goods anywhere to be seen.

"Hey—" grabs the wrist— or what functions as a wrist— and stops short of actually doing anything about it, because what is he supposed to do, exactly? “What are you, my parole officer? Fuck outta there—”

"unhand me!!" the tone in xe's voice is though as if Feyd has grabbed a noble and righteous monarch who has never done anything wrong. "I am merely proving my point!"

A deep breath before a stream of smoke— where did if even come from?— blasts at Feyd.

"That's good- a photograph you can study, replicate by hand. Very smart. I hate to suggest it...but this might be the perfect time to make use of AI, actually." A pained grimace. "I know. But please hear me out. If we have limited time to create those sketches, what if we get to the point you have the perfect keywords, perfect phrasing to have genAI create the image and save us time? This IS life or death, and I think that is more forgivable than someone who wants a hideous profile picture for Facebook, yes?" He won't mind being told no, but the idea seems pertinent.

His stomach roils in guilt at the thought, and his knee jerk reaction is to deny it and pull away, even thought he does flinch slightly. But he does listen, and he knows that Viktor has a point. Ye-Jun is not a skilled artist or at verbally describing things. "I... yeah... and it will only waste energy and water once... or maybe not at all if the last time I don't need it." But what he might have to go through to get there... He's already feeling the weight of the days he might have to face. The horrors. The many deaths...

He glances over his shoulder again at the direction of the... thing. How long should he wait? Or should he just plow right into it again. No... he needs to only adjust slightly from the previous two cycles. Adjusting too much could ruin it all.

"...I guess that is just as well to have gotten your notice." Although a part of them wonders if it would have been better to not have gotten this being's attention at all.

"... I uh. Alright. I will uh keep an eye out and try to move accordingly." There's really not much more they could do given the vagueness of what they were hearing. But is enough for them to feel a certain level of dread certainly.

They extend their right hand, soil rich brown and clad in a gauzy glove. "If you wish for a vision... a taste of the future, of what maybe..." An offering. A test as much as a warning. The taking and the denying all say something about the one being tested, and Nettle wanted to see.

There's many things that Jordan is, but stupid is not one of them. Sure, he is brash and impulsive and a bit dense, but he's not going to miss that someone's been following him for the last hour or so. All signs don't point to him being followed by someone with malice intent, nor with idly curiosity. Someone experienced but not a living shadow, someone human. This was supposed to be a lazy night "looking" for clues in between checking in on local unhoused people to make sure they're still alright. No such luck. Needs to make sure whoever his follower doesn't harm anyone. So he really does look for clues.

Finally he "allows" himself to be "cornered" — please, as if. There's like three ways for him to get out if he needs too. Relaxing the joints of his prosthesis to allow him to whip out the blade in it if he needs to, he turns around. "Alright, you might as well come out, if you're going to be like this," he says, his accented voice light, unbothered. He can't help but be curious, because it's not an Ascension agent, and it's definitely not some mythical creature. Then what else? One of those tech freaks?

//Jordan is surprisingly VERY organized in his main verse. He had a lot of drilling about tidiness and organization that he kind of can't help but be. Very useful for when you need to fight quick and need weapons.

Elva is very chaotic, but in a controlled way. She knows where everything is even if it's not put away neatly, and her spaces aren't dirty or smelly, just disorganized.

Aria is somewhere between the two. Her bedroom and kitchen are all very organized and clean, but her living room and work station are controlled chaos, mainly because she's always working on at least a few projects at a time and they're not always easy too put away. All her stored supplies though are sorted and easily visible so she doesn't forget than anything exists.
