Why does everyone always jump to the conclusion that I’m dead? I understand we don’t have a cloud guardian, but missing two guardians would be a bit much, and I’m sure the boss would make it clear if I was actually dead or not...

“Why are you outside my room?”  Mammon crossed his arms, standing in his doorway and staring up… up at Levi.  “Do you not have somewhere else to be?”

“I didn’t realize I was standing infront of your room -- there was suspicious activity going on in this hallway and I was observing the premises for the possible cause.” Something was going on in this hall and Leviathan was going to get to the bottom of it one way or another.

( My activity is just in little spikes haha it’s a cute little mountain range -- oh boy I’m easily amused ^^; )

“… Oh. That guy. The big oaf who fucking simpers around Xanxus and gloats about kicking the shit out of a baby.”

“Big... oaf? Excuse yourself, your lightning guardian wasn’t a baby the entire time. It was a bit of work getting a hold on what he could do in each stage he transitioned through during our battle. There were so many variables to work through.”

“You should remember me, Bomber. Varia’s lightning guardian -- winner of the battle for the lightning ring all those years ago. If your boss hadn’t stepped in, you would have lost your own guardian that day.”

“… Okay, seriously, get the fuck up off the floor, trash. Even I’m starting to feel uncomfortable.”

Quickly springing up from his face down position, he stared wide-eyed at his boss. Did he pass out while standing guard again? Probably. That’s happened before -- maybe he just needs more coffee. Danger never sleeps, neither should he. 

“Boss!” Brushing any sort of dirt that may have ended up on his pants, he stood attentive, dark circles under his eyes? No problem. “Don’t worry, I’ll stay off the ground this time!”

    Except for the fact that this was going to take a while to happen. 

       “I’m not saying that~ I just thought you were back really… Sooner than expected.”     He folded his arms across his chest and a soft sigh escaped past his lips – it was     not like he could hide anything from Levi really but there was this very slightly      remote chance he would do something wrong. 

        “You see– The boss asked not to be disturbed today, alright? So please don’t        stand in front of his door or anything like that. We don’t want you to get  hurt,        ne?~ And my precious Kuu is resting today. Would you be a dear and help me        supervise today’s assignments?”

“Then I’ll just stand beside his door.” It’s not infront of it and it’s still a spot close enough to make sure he’s still in position to protect his boss. It’s a easy fix.

“Unless, of course, you need my help. I suppose you can’t rely on the prince and his pet or what ever either.” But then who was going to watch the door? The boss can keep himself safe -- it’ll be fine. Maybe he’ll earn some praise from doing this instead. This could work after all.

          “Ohoho~ Darling, I’m pretty sure the boss won’t hesitate telling you that.”

     He sighs and shakes his head disapprovingly. Luss decided to leave      Levi in that wonderful world of fantasy instead of actually arguing.      With a snap of fingers and a charming swing of hips, the lights went      back on and the man turned around to face the other guardian with a       very displeased expression. He wanted the house to be quiet and clean      today because the boss was stressed to death and he wouldn’t get      kicked in the face because of Levi.           “I thought you were out in a mission? Did you send your subbordinates          in your place  again?”

Lussuria wasn’t wrong. Oh, that hurts a bit, just a bit. Equivalent to the sting of peroxide on a wound, as per usual for the one that’s usually healing everyone, it only makes sense.

But Levi wasn’t going to let that drag him down. Hearing it once or twice from his boss, that he had done a good job, that was something he wanted to hear again and would do anything for it.

Back to that last comment. “Of course not -- it was an easy job. Don’t mistake me for someone who doesn’t do their work.”

                      “And this, everybody.”

     Luss grabs the mic and points somewhere in the room.       The lights immediately go out while the spotlight is being      positioned directly at Luss. We can see Levi in the back-      ground. He’s the person Luss was pointing at. 

           “Is why we can’t have nice things.”

Well, that’s not what he was expecting at all, but somehow, he saw it coming. He sees everything coming. That’s his job.

“Your words don’t bother me, the only one here who can tell me that I’m the reason there’s a lack of nice things is the boss.” And on top of that, the boss is a nice thing, and that’s all they need, right?

You know, it’s not all to often Leviathan get’s a full nights sleep. He tries to get them when he can, he really does, to protect his boss and prove his worth, he has to be fully rested and all... But alas. Sleeping a full eight hours isn’t always possible.

When he does get a full nights sleep, though...

“Bossu~” You can bet he dreams of impressing his boss. He loves the praise, much like a dog.
