You and Hermes. You two are very similar. And probably, but I have never heard it. Mostly people say I have my mother’s eyes when they compare me to a parent.
Well, of course. I'm the one he has to thank for all his best qualities. [looks at her for a moment] Hmm, yes, I can see that.
[She rolls her eyes.] You are ridiculous. Like your sons and daughters. And I am the expert on love and it’s frustrating when people don’t understand the point. [ she gives him a look] I still don’t like the idea of marriage at least the way it is. And you are certainly not responsible to me mister. I’m responsible for all of you. You just don’t know it. Hestia and I had a lot of discussions about that lot business.
My issues and her issues are carved into stone at this point. And I did try. I’m just- I think they call it an abrasive personality. She also called me manipulative which I can’t really fault her but it still stings. [She gives him a look.] Zeus he is my son, and he does not remember that fact. I held him as a babe and he thinks I abandoned him at a church. You cannot imagine the pain of seeing your son ask if you were a one night stand. I am worried and I’m scared, but my main concern right now is keeping him in the town because if he leaves he is leaving with my heart.
Most people would use the word charming, but have it your way. [ignores her pointed look] I am responsible for you, how can I not be? That's as much a part of my job as any other. My sister worries too much.
I wish they weren't. If having an abrasive personality is really a point of criticism, then the majority of the pantheon is guilty of it. [gently puts a hand on her shoulder] It will all be resolved, I promise. I will find a way to fix it.

Psyche has a knack of making me angry and at the moment I am not going to talk about it for fear of storming off. You can help by telling the others to treat my son like a stranger for now. Making him remember things when he isn’t ready is just going to hurt him more.
[hides a smile and deliberately raises an eyebrow, giving her a pointed look] You are the expert on love after all, who am I to argue with you? Good, I was just making sure that everything was fine. You could, but you're not, and I'm responsible for all of you.
[sighs] The two of you should really find a way to resolve your issues. [listens and nods] Alright, I will do that. And don't worry, please. He will be just fine.
Alright. A bit confused? Getting used to the fact that no one will take such a young body seriously.

Oh, I didn’t? Whoops, guess we’ve both been busy. I had to quit the job at the range when I got sick, and I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would, so I’m going to school for something I was patron of. Although it makes me proud to see how far we’ve come as a practice.
That's as good a reason as any to do a job, I suppose. Good. I'm glad you're happy.
[She shakes her head.] You are being ridiculous Papa.

It wasn’t but sometimes I think you need reminding. And everyone doesn’t feel it in the same way. Obviously look at my marriage. And yours for that matter. No she called me great-great aunt. And I am going to take care of it don’t you worry.

[takes it from her with a grateful smile] Thank you.
It is, but you were not born into it. Your qualities reflect a leader because they did when you were small. Zeus you are more than your title. And everyone feels love. And I will not. This young people need to learn not to be assholes. I swear if she wasn’t one of the virgin goddesses I would make her fall in love with someone. But I can’t and I won’t. She’s lucky I like her.
[Her face falls.] My son does not remember me, or any of us. I figured as the king of the gods you should know. If only so you don’t say anything to him.
That wasn't a complaint, you know, but I appreciate the compliment. Everyone does, but not everyone feels it in the same way. If it really bothers you that much, then I can ask her to stop. But you don't look at all like anyone's great aunt, so I wouldn't worry about it.
[listens to her speak and frowns] Why was I not told about this before? Surely something can be done for him?
As a very tall one. And that is alright Father, I obviously understand.
I'm very tall. [laughs] Good, I'm glad you do.
Your job is to rule. You care because that’s who you are. [She laughs a little.] Now was that so hard. Honestly. With all of you it’s like pulling teeth. Artemis called me your great aunt. [She makes a face.] You are all so mean to me.
My role is who I am, so I suppose it's fitting. [chuckles, shaking his head] Just because you advocate love and passion, it doesn't mean that everyone around you feels it. [winces] That is a little harsh. I get called old a lot, you just have to get used to it.
Now, what did you want to talk to me about? I assume it wasn't just to get a hug, although that was enjoyable.
I have been fantastic. I have tried to visit you, but you are never here when I do come around.
That's good. Any particular reason why? I'm sorry, but I've just been so busy. It's a poor excuse, but I'm afraid it's the truth.
We shall see. And it is for you, that is true. I usually don’t get refused access to homes after all. [Gives him a half smile before turning around and starting to walk from the house. Not paying attention to if he was keeping up.] Darling not even you have to miss everyone. And I doubt you missed me. Why you didn’t even give me a hug you heartless king. And here I can back for you people.
[follows her, easily keeping pace as his legs are much longer than hers] Of course I do, that's part of my job. [laughs despite himself and rolls his eyes] Well, come here then, you strange lady.
You are quite welcome, Father. [ She starts to write in the information in clear neat handwriting.]
