“A list of things we could do? That sounds exciting.” He admitted, being all too happy himself in her embrace. Cuddling Usagi was an amazing feeling he deary missed.

“Yes! There’s so much to see and so much to do. But we’ll just have to figure it all out.” She announced, looking up at him with her big eyes.”

Blue eyes flicker up to look at him, reaching to play with a lock of hair. “I’m sorry you can’t sleep.”

Ah he loved how her skin felt beneath his touch, the warmth penetrating his gloved fingers. “Usagi I feel so trapped. Wiseman has us all on strings and no one will listen. I fear for my family you saw what happened to Ruebus and Esmeraude…”

There is a need to forget these thoughts and to feel loved. He wanted the physical caress, the physical touch. The warmth of another. Things his brother denied him.

“And now nii-san too…” He whimpers softly. “How do I save him when he refuses to listen? When he just smiles at me so kindly and my words die and all I think of is him. His voice and his eyes and those strong hands as they brush my hair. How can I warn him when the words die on my tongue on his presence. When I fear the retaliation he gives for speaking out against him?”

“Usagi…” He can’t help but smile and shifts the dress higher, fingers moving ever closer to their goal. He easily shrugs out of the blue jacket, a light lavender shirt under it.

“I hope you are right…” And his lips are at her neck. Kissing and sucking at the skin as he seeks to loose himself in her. Timelines be damned. He just wanted her. All of her in that moment.

Seeing his smile brought a warmth to her heart that grew into the smile on her face. Fingers played with his shirt as the buttons slowly became undone.

“I know I will, you and I are quite the team together, Saphir…” she whispered before murmuring softly at the attention to her neck. Tilting her head, she whispered his name, a small plea for more.

Gasping softly at the feeling of his gloved fingers on her skin, she couldn’t help the gentle arch of her back, the desperate feeling of wanting more. He made her crave his touch more than anything else, it felt insane. “I know and I’m the most sorry for all the losses you’ve suffered. If my mother back on the moon was able to give us a life here, then I can find a way to bring them back.”

She needed his touch and so her fingers began to undo his coat, she knew that it was what they both needed, the physical touch that was healing them.

She knew she’d never replace his feelings toward his brother, while she didn’t fully understand it, she understood love and no matter what love was something she would protect. Even if he had no feelings other than physical toward her. “You’ll have me at your side. Together we will help him see that Wiseman is never going to be good for you guys and that all of you will suffer at his hands.”

The idea of breaking that future… she knew she’d never be allowed to, but perhaps she could save him and find him again in her future. “No more stories… but if we are to have one last night together… let us have more than just this sad moment…” she murmured, a hand resting on his heart.

He smiles and holds her close, letting his hands drift up and down her body, placing kisses all over her face and neck. When did hate turn to love? Oh well it didn’t matter he knew his own time would be up soon.

“Usagi…please save my brother…” He whispers. “I won’t survive because after I return you to your friends…. I’m going to confront him. Wiseman is a very dangerous foe so when you fight him don’t lose your love.” He says.

“Your daughter is being held captive in the dungeons below. I cannot reach her. When we captured you we also got her as well. I don’t know what they plan to do.”

She giggled softly from the kisses to her face, gently rolling them so that she was under him, under his touches. Where did she cross the line to fall in love with someone who so willingly wanted her dead? She muses that at this point it didn’t matter.

“Yes you will… don’t confront him; we’ll do it all together. You don’t have to go alone…” She whispered, unable to bear the pain of him gone. “I’ll save your brother, save you and all the others. I know I can.”

“I’m sure Mercury can find Chibi-Usa, she’s the smartest one out of all of us. If anyone can it’s her… then I’ll come back for you. Promise me you won’t confront Wiseman, Saphir..”

“Usagi….you don’t understand…” He whispers and he wants her to. Her naive hope was fitting…she was so innocent nothing like the cold queen he was used too…but was she really so cold? when he sees her like this its hard to think they are the same. A kiss is pressed to her lips, her cheeks and nose and forehead and he can feel it…the power of the lunarien blood that courses in her, dulled by the dark energy that surrounds this planet. 

“My life doesn’t matter. You matter though. You and your daughter…you need to escape and survive. I don’t care about myself…just my brother…he’s my world…” but he knows too that his brother has also hurt him so many times. Why stay loyal to a man who would gladly kill you if you got in his way regardless if blood relations? 

Because he knows that Demando is the only family he has. The only who could love him so much…more than PEtz…more than the young woman in front of him. more than his droids. 

He’s to far gpne to be saved. 

“Trust me…when I say this would be easier. You’ve grown to attached to me in these last two months…this isn’t okay. You need to be free of here…away from us…away from this…”

If she ever learned anything in her last fight with darkness is that she was strong. She was able to withstand blows from the enemy and she learned how to save people from the darkness. She did it with Mamoru, she helped his knights come back, although, she was disappointed that their souls couldn’t be in living bodies, but the rocks Mamoru kept. She often felt guilty because of that.

“I understand what you’re trying to do… you’re pushing me away because you don’t believe your life has a value anymore. I’m not going to abandon my daughter or my friends anymore than I would abandon you or your brother. He will never forgive himself if you are dead, deep down he loves you. I know from the words that come out of his mouth about you, Saphir…”

No one was too far gone to be saved, so many times she was weak in her duty, crying all the while… but not today. Today she had to be strong and do everything to save those around her.

If she couldn’t… then she didn’t deserve to be a queen.

“Perhaps I’ve grown attached to you, but then so have you… we will all be free of Wisemen and I will see you with your brother being free and happy… just as you’ve always deserved…”
