Misadventures with Mister Hero
Ravio shouted stubbornly as Legend grabbed his bag. He turned around to meet the eyes of the stupid merchant who'd invaded his home all those years ago.
"Mister Hero I can't stand you going out there alone! It's oh so lonely here when you're gone and Sheerow, as much as I love that bird, is not the best company!"
Sheerow in turn replied to that with an angry little chirp.
"Okay, what would you like to do about it?" Legend closed the door and turned to face his... Whatever Ravio was to him at this point, more fully. His tilted his head to the side slightly, holding the strap of his bag.
"I would like to accompany you! An adventure with my favorite customer!"
"...right." Legend bit his lip, thinking of the best way to put this. "Rav, no offense, but you're afraid of... Everything. I'm not sure you coming with me is the best idea for you. It would be fun but-"
"Then you agree I should come!"
"Well, no... I just think you'll be much happier here."
Ravio frowned, crossing his arms. "Mister Hero, I am capable of handling myself! I know I can adventure with you!"
Legend sighed softly and moved to sit in his rocking chair. "Alright, go on and gather your things. We leave once you're ready."
"And don't you dare try to bring more than you can carry. I'm not helping with your stuff."
It hadn't even been five minutes.
Legend had walked over to a small ledge and climbed up it JUST to get a better view, only to hear scrabbling behind him and something grabbed his ankle. He panicked and reached for his sword, only to see an equally scared Ravio, dangling from the ledge.
"Mister Hero help! I can't hold on!"
"Okay, okay, you're okay!" Legend said, trying to hold in his frustration, knowing that would only serve to make Ravio more upset and really, as much as he hated the constant conversation, a silent Ravio was even worse.
Gently, he reached out and took Ravio's hand. "Find the rock with your feet- yup just like that. Okay, push up with your legs. Not your hands! Rav you're gonna pull me down!"
"Mister Hero I'm slipping!" Ravio panics as he slides further down.
Legend did feel a little more worried at that and reached over, grabbing Ravio by the scruff and pulling.
"C'mon Rav...! Help me with your feet...!" He grunts, trying to pull the other male up, only for the fabric to slip through his fingers and Ravio falls with a yelp that made his heart jump.
Then a thump was heard shortly after.
And that's when Legend remembered just how HIGH the ledge had been.
"D-don't make fun of me!" Ravio whined, now being able to assess the easier way up and climbing.
"Y-you were s-so scared!" Legend cackled. "Did the poor bunny hurt his bottom!?" He teases, receiving a smack on the back of his head, but it was worth it.
Since then, throughout the adventure, anytime Ravio got frightened, Legend reminded Ravio of the "oh so scary 6 foot drop of doom", and Ravio immediately got red in the face and would glare at Legend until he found a rupee.
