Entertainment One has secured IP to Skin&Earth, a graphic comic series written and illustrated by alt-pop singer/songwriter Lights, to adapt for television as well as digital and gaming content…

I’m really hyped for this new era of Lights and her music, so I decided to take a look back at most of what she’s put out so far :) Hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday Lights!
I hesitated to post this because it's a little arrogant to show off like this... but I thought it was worth sharing for the story. Last November I was fortunate enough to meet Lights again when she did some promo at a local radio station. She took the time to meet and take pictures with each of the 20 or so people that got passes to the session. All the pictures were taken by radio hosts but she also let some of us take selfies with her. Here is the result of her taking my iPhone and trying to figure out the camera herself xD I was surprised by how much she struggled with it because she's a pretty tech savvy person, but I realized that she's dealt with Blackberry/Android for most of her phones. Notice the progressive scowl form on her face. But I think I overheard that she recently got an iPhone. Anyway... sorry, I'll only brag just a little more >.< but she somehow recognized me at the show a couple nights before this and I later found out she knows my name as well. I think that says a lot about her... So if there's anything you can take away from this, it's that Lights does a lot for her fans and there's a bunch of things like this that we don't see. I imagine she does many sessions like this during tours and takes time out of her day to make people happy. So if you've ever thought Lights is one of those singers who takes her supporters for granted, you better think twice!!
