A thought

Upon re-watching TST again, it struck me how quickly the room emptied after “Mary” was shot.  Yes, Norbury had to be removed from the scene, but literally everyone but Sherlock, John, Mycroft and Greg disappeared really quickly….as a woman is supposedly dying.  Sorry, Moftiss, not buying that.  

If TST is, in fact, Sherlock creating an alibi for what actually happened between John and “Mary”, then I wonder if this is to hint that the only people who know the truth are Sherlock, John, Mycroft and Greg and that’s why they’re included in this scene as Sherlock recounts it??

Yep, good point, @lediona25! I think it’s very plausible that only they know the truth and that they were the ones present. Anyone else and I don’t think they could really contain this. There is also evidence to support that the policemen weren’t there, namely the fact that they aren’t in the shot when Mary is jumping in front of Sherlock and they definitely had nowhere to go.

Yup, this has been bugging me, too. We see Mycroft leave to call an ambulance, but Greg and those policemen, what about them? Yet another bit that’s off about this episode.

I noticed that too. John enters like 5sec after Mary gets shot and there is NOBODY there. I mean, it’s really suspicious how quickly they removed Norbury from the scene.

Also it does seem very unlike John to jump to conclusions and blame Sherlock straight away like he did. He didn't even ask and find out what was going on. We all know that it wasn't sherlocks fault that Mary died anyway, but surely John would have at least realised that later on, rather than continuing to blame Sherlock? It definitely seems off.
