ok hear me out, Wingfrin sus event but its half the normal event half Odile figuring out that Siffrin isn't fully human, aka has wings. and Siffrin thinking that if the party would think he is some kind of monster on par with the king if they found out.

ideal I had while writing this, Siffrins wing bindings got cut at some point in the house, but he's been keeping them tucked away in his cloak, so when he breaks down, he unintentionally spreads them out since he's no longer focused hiding them, causing the "I'm some kind of monster" part of the spiral.

just some thoughts i had, love your artwork btw.

Also siffrin is fully human! Their thoughts would be more like “they’re gonna think I’m a lesser freak!!” THEN maybe spiral all the way out into “I’m a monster”later on

(^^^Lesser cuz the stunted wings, wings were so normalized when they were growing up that the way they think is as if everyone has wings)

Possibly!! I feel like there could be books that Siffrin reads that mentions their country’s “gift”, she would eventually put it together because of the fact that the king has a massive pair of wings and Siffrin seemingly being from the same place (maybe one or two of the questions he can ask the king could be related to the wings)
