Happy 25th birthday Taylor Momsen. (July 26, 1993)

“I don’t like to use the word ‘provocative,’ because I think it’s too cliché and I think it simplifies things too much. But I hate the word ‘edgy’ and ‘provocative’ and ‘dark’ or whatever. ‘Cause I don’t consider myself a pessimist or an optimist. I’m an artists, so I’m consistently unhappy and consistently frank about what I’m doing. So I’m never happy and I’m never satisfied. At the same time, I love what I do so much I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
