So in other words, Nor’s powers only work when there’s light? Well, that does explain it, her powers are mostly light-based, after all.

Gently grabbing her hand, he gently led Nor to the Bamboo Forest, looking for Mystia.

“Can I ask you something, Miss Nor? Where did those feelings come from? Had you always have them, or is this something recent? I just thought we were friends, and that’s all…”

Not to mention the age difference-

She takes his hand, going into the darkness outside and her body depleting in strength. Her eyes felt heavy, her body felt heavy, everything felt heavy. The absence of the sun made everything so much more difficult. No doubt in her current state, Eri would be in complete control here as she puts every effort she could into each step trying to stay awake.

“Its been like that for a while. I only was able to convey it with teasing though... and you didn’t get it.” Her voice was monotone like a robot, emotionless and tired.

“We went from friends, to something like siblings--and my heart throbbed more and more.”

“Ah, you meant Miss Mystia, right? Yes, her food really is delicious! But yes, I don’t mind going! Although… I guess it really is dangerous at night, isn’t it?…”

Eri took a bit of a thought. If it was at night, he might need some kind of disguise, but… then again, this was a date, wasn’t it? He wasn’t too sure if Nor wanted him to be himself, or she didn’t mind him with a disguise for protection.

“Miss Nor, you’re much better at defending yourself than I am… You’re much stronger, and not to mention you’re also a… djinn, right? All I can do is just shapeshift…”

She nodded in return to his claim. Mystia sounded right. She wasn’t too sure really but she figured Eri would no better than her. Nor was completely diurnal and knew not of the night time activities. It was a shame given there was apparently also a ramen restaurant that appeared in the evening. But she couldn’t go out and do that. 

“Unfortunately, that isn’t accurate at all. Eri, I’m light incarnate. I exist on the diurnal system and function best during that time. When it becomes dark or night time, I’m pretty powerless.”

“But… I guess I could accompany you for a while. Where would you like to go?”

He’s thinking it’s definitely one of Nor’s pranks again, but he’ll play along-

“Yeah that’s the norm here. Back home its very different. I was the odd one really. But nonetheless, location to go... location to go. Y’know, I heard there is this little cart that sell’s lamprey’s at night. Guess its supposed to be really good, if that’s cool with you. I typically don’t like going out at night--as you know--but I’ll be safe if I’m with you.”

“Oh my, Eri. Are you asking me out on a date? So bold! But of course, I accept. What girl wouldn’t--other than those bitch Kasha--”

“W-Well, I don’t know about honest, Miss Nor… I’m a shapeshifter and an actor, so I do prank you and others from time to time… And you’re more dependable than I am. But… don’t you prefer women over guys like me?”

“Its an act. Its all fun and games. You don’t mean any malicious intent behind your pranks--unlike me a lot of times. As for the women, its a preference, not a requirement. I can still appreciate a good dick.”

“… What? “ That question completely caught her off guard as she lightly stumbled on the edge, nearly sliding down inside of the boat as it rocked slightly. Those cheeks of hers growing a bright flushed pink. “ N-no. I don’t think I have.. I…That’s a really unique question, Hikari. Ah.. though now that you mention it.. Can you hold my hand? “ She would slide it over once she regained her seat on the boat. 

She remains quiet and just takes the girls hand. Normally, she would just make an illusion, play a little with Komachi and lead into some love and fun. But nothing could happen. She was stuck, incapable of using any manipulations. Maybe she could use that to her advantage. She leans into Komachi’s ear and whispers to her--seductively. “You know, I have no powers anymore. If we did it, it would be genuine and true.”

“Yes yes.. it sounds like you have a fun time ahead of you regardless.. though I figure it’ll be a lot more boring if you cross to the ministry this way. It’d be boring. “ 

“Hey, Komachi, you ever had sex with a ghost before?” She floats over closer--and then realizes she has a wisp tail for legs. Now that shes thinks about it, she cant feel anything, let alone her privates. That’s awkward. Guess you don’t reproductive parts when you’re dead--would that be necromancy?

“Nope. If I didn’t get to make amends, means it wasn’t too big a deal. But I think I’m a little confused here, you say we didn’t spend much time together like we cant anymore. Unless you’re sending me on my way--which I guess is okay. My 72 virgins are awaiting me...” Though she did die in Japan. She wasn’t sure if afterlife was centered around specific areas and cultures. If so, that sucked since her brother died in Egypt. She wasn’t too quick to get judged either.

The magician casually slips a life extension to the now ghost. "Don't worry about payment, I've been stockpiling these things for the better part of a decade."

I’d say just float on down next to me. “ Another pat for the edge, Komachi quietly gazing at Nor. “Its been awhile since we seen each other.. though I guess I didn’t expect to meet you again like this. Hahaha. “ 

“Float down....” Not attempts to lower herself down, having difficulty to do so. She could move as literal light photons but not as a dead. With some energy, she finally lowered herself next to Komachi.

“Yeah, I had some things to do, some mistakes I wanted to correct. I knew my time was coming up in a few decades, maybe a century. Just... didn’t expect to die so soon.”

“Oh my, getting right to it are we.” She was going to take this as far as she could, but she didn’t expect the girl to just catch on this quick--nor was Nor aware that the girl sucked mana via tongue.

She leans down and gives a wink to the dark skinned girl. “I was going to let you make succor through my breasts, but if you’d prefer my lips, I don’t mind~”

“I wish it was an illusion. That bitch called my bluff and killed me. As for sitting... I haven’t figured out how to. This tail is difficult to control.” She seems rather upset and uncomfortable. She didn’t expect to lose her legs on death. She knew ghosts were wispy--but why!?
