“THE a i r is still, && I AM A HUNTER.”

“ HOW can I help ? ” Claudia murmured , leaning closer to the other woman to catch her quiet words . There was a need for secrecy , no matter where they were ; Claudia could hardly trust this new city to not have spies secreted away in every corner . She had only just arrived in New Orleans , after all .
“I have HEARD of your family’s success regarding the expansion of the brotherhood in Italy. I was hoping you’d show me HOW you were to recruit so many willing people. In truth, it is hard to find anyone in NEW ORLEANS willing to fight for what is right.” She explains, nothing but respect in her eyes. “My QUESTION IS; where do I find the r i g h t people?”

Summoned by his sister. Of course. Why would he expect any less from dear ol’ Evie? What she intended to do with these foreign Assassins was beyond him; she’d never been the type to ask for HELP, much like himself. Perhaps it was her need to prove herself, to prove she could LIVE up to their father’s legacy; whatever the case, Evie had always gotten things done on her own.
‘ why, thank you, madam. my rooks and i CERTAINLY do our best. as for the grasp the templars have… yes — the threat still remains. crawford starrick, the grand master, here, is a difficult man to break. one-by-one, we ELIMINATE his allies, and still he comes back stronger. ’
She listens while he describes the TEMPLAR in charge here, and she was instantly reminded of the COMPANY MAN before she had discovered it was her step mother. Most Templar's were hard to take out, but once the GRANDMASTER was dead, the rest of the order fell to pieces. Hopefully if she proposed an idea, he'd listen.
"---i hope i am not imposing, but have you tried taking him out? i have learned from past feats that taking out the l e a d e r causes the rest to fall to NOTHING. Yet, I will admit that I'm not very wise to the ways of the English."
Another fear of hers had been that they wouldn't get along simply due to her heritage; she was FRENCH && they were ENGLISH. Yet he did not seem to care at all.
"Forgive me for not introducing myself, I am Aveline De Grandpre."

Louisiana, the child of France as some would call it. Most of those who did not settle in Canada were seen to be here and thus, there were problems that even France itself had to solve as any parent would. At least, that was what Arno suspected when he was given leave to come here from the French Brotherhood itself. A Templar, they say, from his home country was hiding out here and his mission was to search and kill him.
Thus, he had come to this party in New Orleans. Uninvited, of course, but Arno knew he wasn’t going to stay long. His target was busy talking with another in a group and he merely kept watch until the man were to separate. Easy enough, he simply grabbed a glass of wine and settled down for the night. At least, he hoped it would remain as such until a woman began to speak with him.
“Hm? Oh, yes,” he glanced at her with a smile. “It’s lovely. Though the tiny cakes are something to be hesitant of. Too much salt.” Taking a sip of the wine, eyes flicked towards his target to see him still there before moving his gaze away.
IT SEEMED THE BROTHERHOOD in France did not know of her existence, nor of her work freeing thousands of slaves within New Orleans alone. And so they had sent this BOY to take a life she had also been ASSIGNED to take by Agate, her mentor. If she let him down again, he would not react well, especially since this assassination contract had become personal. This man she, and this stranger had both been assigned to kill happened to SUPPORT the slave trade. With her blades hidden beneath the sleeves of her dress, she’d MAKE sure she killed the man first.
Aveline watched the man CLOSELY, eyes following his gaze. And there stood the TEMPLAR, she just had to keep this s t r a n g e r occupied before she left his side. Hell, she was almost tempted to knock him out with a SLEEP dart. ---- HOWEVER, she wouldn’t kill him, that would go against everything she stood for, especially since he was probably a member of the brotherhood.
“---AH YES, my step mother has never been very good at cooking, she tried, that’s what truly matters. It is good to hear that you are ENJOYING the party, monsieur.” Her voice is nothing but polite, “If you’ll excuse me, there is a man I need to speak to.” She walks past him, and heads straight for the TEMPLAR, blade extending when she neared him. She stabbed him, and then disappeared into the crowd, making her way back towards the stranger.
“NEXT TIME, move quicker, or else your target will be stolen from you, BOY.”

‘ i most certainly am; LEADER, in fact. though, my sista’ will argue that i’m merely a co-leader, alongside her. she never really believe the gang would do us well, so i don’t count her as any sort o’ leader. ’
The good ol’ Rooks — Jacob Frye’s heart and soul. He was ecstatic word of his growing gang had seemed to spread across the Brotherhood, and as far as New Orleans. He was a reckless member of the Creed, and certainly had something of a negative reputation, but meeting fellow “brothers” and “sisters” had always proved interesting.
There was no DENYING that his gang had accomplished a lot, yet many assassin's she had met in the BROTHERHOOD had shown their disapproval whenever she spoke with them. Of course, she had her own opinion on his methods, she would not judge, each assassin had their own way of doing things, and as long as they didn't harm the innocent, she did not care what they did.
"I have heard about your work here in Londres, you have accomplished much it seems, you have my respect MONSIEUR FRYE. In truth, I was summoned here by your sister. Does TEMPLAR control still remain here in London?"

LONDON was rather dull in her eyes, && far too busy. She already missed NEW ORLEANS, && the freedom it had provided her with. Of course, her duty to the brotherhood had brought her here, she was ALWAYS more than happy to meet those who served the same cause as she did.
“---You are part of a gang?”

TO SEE ANOTHER woman in the brotherhood brought her joy, not only did that mean she was NOT the only one, but that the organization she had given up her life for had managed to close gender gaps within a close minded society. A smile adorns her delicate features, nothing but welcome glowing in her eyes.
“You have traveled far, sister. I am honored to meet you.”

“YOUR ARRIVAL was unexpected, Madame.” She keeps her voice low, just in case anyone happened to be listening in on their conversation. She had been trying to get in CONTACT with as many members of the BROTHERHOOD as possible.
“I need your help expanding the brotherhood’s influence.”

SHE HAD KEPT in contact with the other assassin for some time now, especially after the help he had given her whilst tracking down the COMPANY MAN about a year ago. She now considered him a valuable ally, && even a friend. The BROTHERHOOD of North America was too small, the only way to repair it was by working together. And of course she had invited him to NEW ORLEANS to converse with him over an idea she had that involved rebuilding the brotherhood.
“IT IS GOOD to see you again, Connor, we have much to discuss.”
