“–I guess I’ve seen weird enough shit already, what’s a fucking vampire to add to the list.” Saying the word feels weird. But he cares about Matthew a lot. He doesn’t date, really; he sleeps around, makes acquaintances. Sometimes even friends (see: the girl with her legs in his lap, and Alana Bloom, too). But dating is different. And Matty trusts him enough with something that heavy, and… maybe that’s freaking him out more than the confession itself.
“As long as he’s not gonna kill me in my sleep, I think I’m okay with it. I mean, it’s– it’s whatever, right? It doesn’t change anything.”
“Logically speaking he’d probably eat you first over me, but again, he’s pretty fucking harmless. Never seen the guy even yell. And that’s a little surprising.” She gets on people’s nerves a lot, what can she say? She’s never heard Miles yell before either, but her case remains the same. They were both pretty damn harmless in her book. Fighting and killing for survival is a lot different than being dangerous.
“Everyone’s got something big in their past, or even present, that’ll fuck them up a little bit. Something big to tell someone they love. Matty just trusts you is all.”
