My Top 5 Alternative Comedies
Hi guys!
A big passion for me has always been alternative comedy, through no fault of my own really. I was brought up watching shows like The Mighty Boosh and The IT Crowd, with my parents encouraging me to watch things that were a little āoutside of the boxā. Iām incredibly grateful of that, and now I wish to share with you my top five alternative comedies in the hope that you too may find a new show that you love!Ā
* A little disclaimer: these are British alternative comedies, simply due to the fact that Iām British, and because I havenāt yet stumbled across American/otherwise comedies with the same surrealism/cynicism that I enjoy. The closest thing I have found is Maria Bamfordās Netflix special Old Baby (which is excellent, by the way) in terms of surrealist American humour. But please, if you do have any suggestions for me to watch, I would love to give them a try!

no nerds
One of the reasons that Iāve come to love The Mighty Boosh so much in the past year is just the unreal sense of calm and pleasant amusement I feel when watching the show.
Something about the engaging way the show is written and the fact that you never really have to worry about the characters actually being in danger, because of the rules (or lack there of) in this weird, wonderful universe Noel and Julian have created.
Itās truly an experience no other show has been able to create for me, and I honestly I really appreciate that.

HEY TUMBLR, LETāS PLAY A GAME
To play this game, go to MapCrunch, select āhide locationā, make sure you have all countries unselected, and click go. What this will do is drop you in a random part of the world. Itās as if you woke up on the side of a road in an unfamiliar country. The goal of the game is to find your way to an airport so you can return home.Ā
Bonus Hard Mode: No using outside sources, and that includes using google maps to figure out your location from signs or landmarks
ā¦I had plans today but now.
