Not to conquer, but to share the view”

Word On The Water
Along with his two partners, his shy dog Star and former two cats, Paddy Screech (photographed below) launched Word On The Water last 2011 after working for twenty years in the public sector rehabilitating former addicts.
This quaint Dutch Barge bookshop (considered to be one of the ten most inspiring bookshops around the world) floats on Paddington Basin just outside the train station blending a perfect combination of second-hand sold books and other awesome finds, live acoustic music on the roof stage, and the ecstatic unorthodox vibe just looming around the area.
Fortunately, after a 9-month wait, thousands of miles of travel, two failed attempts, and useless GPS system and Google Map application, I was finally able to set foot and learned about the barge from the owner himself. Unfortunately, they had to leave in a few days due to several issues with the Canal and River Trust.
If you want to help Word On The Water continue spreading knowledge and sending out good vibes, please do so by clicking here and liking their Facebook account and by e-mailing [email protected] telling them your support for this book shop. That wouldn't take much effort, would it? :)
