Two soulmates meet in every lifetime but are doomed to lose each other before growing old together. One remembers everything and the other only starts remembering at the very end.

“Why does it always feel like I’ve loved you before?”

“Because you have.”

Writing Prompt #1

A hero talking about their break up.

“So why’d you end it?” he asked more gently this time.

The hero went still.

“He had this whole future ahead of him,” they said quietly.

“One of my villains knew his name.”

“And all I could think was…”

Their voice cracked for the first time all night.

“He’s going to die because he was kind to me.”

He was as tall as he was tall, and his eyes were the color they were. To describe his hair one would say that he had some. His face had all the features you'd expect, and none of the ones you wouldn't. "There he is," people would often say of him, but only when he was there. And they were right.

i think it’s silly to be ashamed of your art because it’s not in a museum and of your voice because it’s not selling out stadiums. there will always be people who enjoy and appreciate what you can do.

This makes me feel more confident about my art. I don't think it's the best thing in the world, but the process of making it gives me the best memories.

Don't just do things because you're good at it, do things because you enjoy them.
