URGENT MUTUAL AID‼️⚠️PLEASE HELP A DISABLED TRANSGENDER LATINO SURVIVE THE NEXT MONTH ‼️⚠️

I never really know how to start these posts, so I'll just start with explaining my situation: I'm disabled, I moved back home from the US to Brasil in order to afford a better living situation for myself and so far things have worked out, I've been able to survive on my student loans, but this month got tight because I received less money for my summer term than last year. I'll be okay once September rolls around, but in order to afford my August living expenses (+ some unexpected emergencies that have popped up) I'm having to turn to asking for mutual aid again.

I need $380 for rent, $60 for bills, $80 for cat food, $100 for groceries and another $100 for some extra misc. expenses I'm having (replacing my shower, water filter, and currency conversion fees)

Totaling out to me needing to raise $720 USD to make it through the month. But even if all I can get is enough for rent and bills, that already goes a really long way.

I don’t know what’s been happening with the TS3 community lately, but this new epidemic of creators paywalling CC that’s either 1. stolen or 2. just really poor quality is seriously pissing me off. It’s so disappointing to see, and honestly it just hurts the community.

One of the things I’ve always loved most about this community is how supportive everyone is. People make things because they enjoy creating and sharing them with others, not because they expect something in return besides maybe a simple thank you. That’s how it should be, and that’s something I’ll always stand by myself.

This honestly needs to stop. I don’t think this kind of behavior belongs in the TS3 community, and I know I’m not the only one who’s tired of seeing creators lock things away for months just to squeeze money out of people. 🙃

Sorry for the slowing down of TS3 posts! On one hand I'm experiencing some lag. I need to figure out how to make it disappear, it's a bit annoying...

On the other I got my very early birthday gift (it's near the end of July actually), a Nintendo Switch Lite so I've been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons nonstop... I've been admiring others play this game for so long but it seemed unattainable because it is way out of my budget. This is such a big moment for me 😭🙈 I put some info about my early game under the cut.

My starter villagers are Deirdre (whom I'm a little unsure about) and Genji (whom I love!)

I absolutely love Blathers and Leif. Gulliver just came and went so I don't know yet. Tom Nook is sus... Timmy and Tommy are cute minions to him though!

I chose the map with a lot of rivers so my island is pretty devided. Which means a lot of my buildings are unfortunately crammed in one space 😅 I'm hoping to get this fixed later when I can.

One thing no one told me about/haven't realized from watching others play (maybe because it's been common knowledge?) is that you need a membership to download custom designs by others and visit islands not near you... the switch is already expensive, the game isn't cheap either and there's paid membership?? It's a letdown, not gonna lie. I might get a membership but definitely later. I want to learn how everything works first and get into the groove. And then decide if it's worth it for me 🤔
