Notice something special in this picture? The ISS flew over Giza, Egypt and took this shot of the three great paramids.
A stunning picture By the Hubble Space Telescope shows parts of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), a small nearby galaxy that orbits the milky way. Image credit: NASA/ESA For higher Resolution see: http://www.nasa.gov/content/goddard/hubble-sees-turquoise-tinted-plumes-in-large-magellanic-cloud/

It's been too long !
Woooooh It's been a while since the last time I posted something geeky.. I really miss Tumblr and my blog. As of today I’ve 228 followers I’m telling them hi and it's nice to see you still in my followers list after this long time. Hope you enjoy my coming spacey posts
A Man Who Brighten The World
Today marks the 158th Birthday of the scientist, inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist Nikola Tesla.
"All People everywhere should have free energy sources. Electric power is everywhere present in unlimited quantities and can drive the worlds machinery without the need for coal, oil or gas." Nikola Tesla
"Nikola Tesla was not in this for money. He wanted to give the world free energy. if we are to implement free energy in the tradition of Nikola Tesla, then we need to replicate not only his science but his humanity" Sterling D. Allen
Thanks to such a genius every time when we plug any kind of electrical devices..
SUCCESS ! Engines Fired After 17 Years of Retirement
A private team successfully fired the engines of a retired 36 yrs-old NASA spacecraft on July 2.
The ISEE-3 (International Sun-Earth Explorer 3) a probe was launched in 1978 to study the interaction between Earth’s magnetic field and the Solar wind. The spacecraft was one of three spacecrafts (ISEE-1, ISEE-2) as part of an international cooperative program between NASA and ESA.
The spacecraft ISEE-3 became the first to a Comet, passing through the tail of comet Giacobini-Zinner. After being the first probe passing by a comet it was renamed to ICE (International Cometary Explorer).
In April 2014, the ISEE-3 Reboot Project, an unofficial group with support from the Skycorp Company, the team members formally announced their intentions to recapture the prob and bring it back near earth orbit and then resume its original mission.
“All in all, a very good day,” co-leader Keith Cowing wrote on a blog post about firing the A and B thrusters on ISEE-3 to perform a spin-up burn on July 2. Cowing added that the next step might be on Tues (July 7), which it will be to change the prob’s trajectory.
A schematic image of the model to show that the Galilean satellites eclipsed in Jovian shadow are illuminated by scattered sunlight by the haze in the Jovian upper atmosphere. The size and the distance of the satellites are not to the scale. This process is similar to one that causes red color of the Earth’s Moon during its total eclipse.

An image of the gas giant Jupiter shows its great red spot and how much it has changed since it was first recognized in 1930s.This swirling storm feature larger than our earth and its shape has changed from an oval to be a circle as shown in this new released image taken by the Hubble space telescope.

The 'El Gordo' galaxy cluster, officially known as ACT-CL J0102-4915, contains several hundred galaxies. The total mass of the cluster, as refined by Hubble Space Telescope measurements, is estimated to weigh as much as 3 million billion stars like Earth's sun (about 3,000 times as massive as the Milky Way galaxy). Most of the mass is hidden away as dark matter. Credit: NASA, ESA, and J. Jee (University of California, Davis)
