This girl has been through so many changes! I’ve modified her face a little over the years (a bit of sanding here and there), and then more recently a bigger change was made to her eyes where I partially closed them to give a more dreamy look. The body art was really fun to do, and the doll’s sculpt made this even better - I think she really suits being nude all the time so I wanted to decorate her a little to really show her off! The only problem is I want to make more, but I’m still clueless about mens’ hair, so I’m like…what styles should I even try? WTF do men do with their hair? I know short styles are the hardest to find for dolls, so I guess more of those?!

Hello, all.  Today I’m asking for your help.

I’m leaving my job of 7 years to start something new, something needed.  I’ve been working with children for a long time, and my goals have always been:  be honest, be kind, be trustworthy, and give each child my best.  As a queer woman, a huge part of my best means that I am an advocate for young children who are finding themselves, who are questioning the strict rules of gender and self-expression, and that I act as a bridge to parents who need help understanding their children.

About a year ago, I realized that to most effectively advocate for children, I needed to start my own school.

Wood Violet Montessori will be a licensed Montessori preschool.  Admission will be open to families from all walks of life.  We will strive to provide an informed, socially-conscious curriculum, much in the intended manner of Dr. Maria Montessori herself.  Her vision for the world was that children would be guided by responsive and responsible adults, in order to come into the full potential of their being.  Those children learn from an early age what it truly means to share, to support one another, and to find joy in seeking knowledge, and they carry these skills as a driving force throughout their lives.

Decided to play around and edit on SAI with doing a mock up with my favorite picture (and one of the best pics I’ve taken with my iPhone lol) of Danni the day after she came to give her more of a complete look and if I’m able to get her in tan for myself. I’m just going to answer some frequently asked questions I got yesterday about Danni and additional info for her. So here we go: ❤️Danni is 41 cm, so she’s slightly taller than a Minifee but wears YoSD tops/dresses and looks like she SD sized hips. ❤️I will be selling copies of her in resin. I have to do final adjustments and prepare her for casting (casting company will very likely be HaruCasting) ❤️ The skintones I will be offering is flesh and tan skin, I’ll show skin samples samples once I get them from the casting company, other colors may come in the future ❤️Pricing for her isn’t set, but she will very likely be priced around $500 ($550 tan skin). She will have another pair of hands and heeled feet, magnetic horns, I also plan to add a CoA, random pair of 18mm eyes, and possibly where she will have a bag for transport instead of a box ❤️Layaway will be offered when her preorder is opened, more details on this later ❤️I am not 100% sure when her preorder date will be, but I’m hoping for early to mid August, a set date will be announced for sure with enough notice. ❤️I will offer only 10 - 15 copies the first time around, (the number isn’t set yet, still undecided).
