LCW PROJECT - SHOP TRUCK - EL CAMINO

The restoration is coming along nicely. We have successfully removed the entire body from the frame and have completely disassembled the remainder of the parts sitting on the frame. Once the frame is clear of all cables and miscellaneous hardware we will send it off to be sandblasted and powder coated. 

Removing the body allows us to completely inspect the underside of the vehicle and fix problem areas. This body seems to be in great shape. We found 2 problem areas where rust has eaten threw the floor. We'll order he replacement sheet metal pans and cut out the rusted out sections. More to come on the metal work.

36" x 18" x 16" bench. My friend needed a little bench at the end of his bed to put on his shoes. He sketched it up and we built it from scrap laying around #lilcypressworkshop. Not a bad little project for a #Sunday afternoon. #reduce #reuse #recycle

Its a car its a truck, ITS A CAR-TRUCK!

What does any respectable workshop need? A reliable shop truck to pick up materials and deliver product! LCW has chosen a 1967 Chevrolet El Camino for that task. We were contacted by an old friend who dropped the ball on this project and needed it gone. We scored on a rebuilt 350 V8 engine and lots of parts to get things going. All in all a good buy!

Our humble beginnings were in a small workshop/garage in the city of Cypress, California. Hence, Lil Cypress Workshop. We chose to make our products from raw materials by our own bare hands.
