Pentax67, Kodak Portra400

I bought my Pentax67 in 2013. An amazing 120mm camera, with some of the best glass ever made.

But little did I now about filmphotography.

How to make a correct metering.

What is the difference in a Fuji 400 ASA film and Kodak 400 ASA film. They are both 400 ASA.

I’m no expert, now 7-8 years latter, but I have certainly improved my skills.

Besides knowing very little about filmphotography in general, I would have love to have known about reciprocity failure at the time of this picture.

It’s one of the first ever frames i did after purchasing my pentax67.

Two times a year there’s a flea market very close to where I live.

I took my camera for a walk, the night they were packing it all up.

And damn, I would have loved to have known more about film photography that day.

Specially reciprocity failure.

It’s not that bad an exposure. But next time the flea market is here, I hope the skies looking this amazing again, and I will do a better job.

Holly Bluff, Mississippi is hardly to be called a town. Possibly also hardly to say it’s a village.

Only a few houses and a gas station, this sleepy place in the middle of the Mississippi delta was a fantastic stop over on my last road trip in the Mississippi delta.

If John Wayne or Charles Bronson had come riding down the street, I wouldn’t have been surprised, cause tumbleweed were already rolling down the road.

I can’t wait to go back to the US again and spend some time on the American roads.

#rohingya #crisis part five: Many families arrive to the island #Shapuree, by boat. At the #island, most #families get only one night at the local #madrasa, where they can rest and get something to eat. But some circumstances, can do, that it’s close to impossible to move on, after only one night. #picture 1. Humaira Begum, 34 years old, came to #bangladesh 2 days ago. The first night in the local madrasa she gave #birth to a little girl. Picture 2. Mohammed Rafik 35 years, paid about 50 dollars, to be sailed from the shores of #burma, to the small island of Shapuree. Picture 3. #rohingyacrisis part four: A lot of the #rohingya #refugees comes to #bangladesh, badly #wounded, after attacks from the #Burmese #military. Most of the #hospitalized are here because of #gunshots and knife wounds. Picture 1. Morjanina Begum 11 years. Attacked by the military in her village. They cut and stabbed her with knives and machets. Picture 2. Ismel 24 years, Shot in the leg by the Burmese military, on the border between #Burma and Bangladesh. Picture 3. Nur Fattama 6 years old, was wounded during a mortar attack that also killed her mother. Picture 4. At District Medical Hospital in Cox's Bazar, one department has been made, only for rohingya refugees. Picture 5. Aniutll is 18. The Rohingya's flight from Myanmar, is by no means over. 

It continues and will probably do that, for a long time.

Since the end of August, more than 600,000 have fled from warlike states.

 Burning of villages, mortars attack, rapes, killing and other horrific stories about the situation in Myanmar is among the things I have heard, when I was in Bangladesh.

 I went to Bangladesh on my own initiative to document what happens, because I just couldn’t sit in my sofa, watching the news day after day.

 Therefore, I am super pleased, that among other things, Danmarks Radio has chosen to bring my pictures in a large webdoc.
