â« - A singing curse has been afflicted upon us - what happens now?
               â                â              â            â                                 On Halloween,                 w i t c h e s come true;             boo!           Wild g h o s t s escape from dreams.          scream!          Each m on s t e r dances in the parkâŠ.     bleed!

The shed where Josh and Lily ended up spending some of their time in was already naturally decorated for the holiday â the rusted nails sticking from the rotting wood planks, the cobwebs hanging down from the corners of the structure, and the piles of old molded leaves speckling the floor gave off a certain spooky auraâŠ.
Though the two sitting in the space were anything spooky at the moment.Â
Somehow, the moment Lily had walked into the shed, neither of them had been able to stop singing. Each time either of them opened their mouth, melodic rhymes slipped past their lips, and now the two stewed angrily. The pair had meant to spend the day planning the last touches on their Halloween pranks, but this whole musical thing was throwing them all off.
Neither of them could return home like this, nor could they speak without feeling humiliated and frustrated. The minutes in the hours seemed to stretch on, and finally Lily gave a grunt, stretching. The noise set Joshua off in a way, and he sprung to his feet, kicking a pile of leaves and slamming his fist into a wooden plank with a long, deep note.
"Youâre lucky your fist didnât go right through and break your wrist~" Lilyâs singsong voiced came out high, sweet. It was much different from her usual morose tone, and it didnât suit her. Rolling his eyes, Joshua kept his lips clamped shut tight, refusing to let any such sound echo through the shack.

"This is ridiculous, yet no need to get vicious," Lily sighed, wondering how her words automatically made a poetic stanza, and the brunette couldnât help but wonder if she was naturally this good at singing, or if it was just a⊠side effect.Â
"Make this stop, or I will make you drop,â Joshua sang out quietly, trying to keep his words for matching so perfectly. It didnât work, and he raised his fist to pommel the wall once more.Â
Tired of his attitude, Lily stood as well, and started loudly singing rushed words at him â only to have him attack her back. Their voices changed into something like an Opera, and the noise was nearly deafening.
ââ Shut up!â          ââ Shut up!â
The two both sang out simultaneously, standing close together, glaring into each others eyes.Â
"Ew, get away from me," Lilith sneered, in a normal speaking voice once more, taking a step away from the boy. Grinning as she realized that the curse had been lifted, she put a fist into the air triumphantly. "Whatever lame shit this is, glad thatâs done with, damn."
