The Lady Laena Velaryon was dead.
The wind was blowing within the air and into everyone's hair as the ocean waves crashed amongst the large and cold rocks close to the shore. The sun seemed to take notice of the demeanor from the many civilians all around as it decided to hide behind the clouds and not shine down on the many people all around in Driftmark. The funeral for Laena Velaryon was full of people as the ones who knew her grieved over the loss of the woman.
The Lady Laena had gone into labor late at night and when she overheard about how she'd die either way by the end of the birth, so despite the pain, she had decided to go to her dragon and say the one word that dragons could never refuse to do. Dracarys. After hesitation in the dragon's eyes as she pleaded with her to do as she said, Laena had closed her eyes one last moment before she was being burnt alive in front of her husband, killing herself and the babe inside during the process.
Within the crowd near the tombstone casket, Daenaera stood in between her little brothers and in front of her mother as Rhaenyra held her children close to her.
Just beside them, Laenor held his hands clasped together as he looked down, grieving over the the loss of his sister just like his parents and nieces were currently doing as well. However, the children were also grieving over the loss of Ser Harwin Strong after the castle they were sleeping in caught on fire, killing him and his father, Lord Lyonel Strong in the process.
Just across from the small family, The Prince Daemon Targaryen didn't show any emotion about the death of his wife, something he was very good at doing, as he stared straight ahead, letting his violet eyes examine the two eldest children of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon, completely ignoring the burning gaze of Ser Vaemond Velaryon right on his left.
Just on his other side, his two daughters, Baela and Rhaena Targaryen, held deep frowns along their faces as they continued to grieve over their mother, wondering what they were to do now that she was gone and they weren't able to say goodbye before she burned herself from her burned herself from her dragon. Glancing towards the king and queen's family after feeling some eyes on her, Daenaera met Aegon’s gaze, he was already staring at her.It had been a few days since they saw one another after Rhaenyra, her children and her husband had left Kings Landing and went to Dragonstone without even saying goodbye, the princess and heir to the Iron Throne wanting to leave after all the rumors of her children’s parentage.
"We join today at the Seat of the Sea to commit the Lady Laena of House Velaryon to the eternal waters, the dominion of the Merling King where He will guard her for all the days to come. As she sets to sea for her final voyage, the Lady Laena leaves two true-born daughters on the shore.
Though their mother will not return from her voyage, they will all remain bound together in blood. Salt courses through Velaryon blood. Ours runs thick. Ours runs true. And ours must never thin." Vaemond announces in High Valyrian, causing many gazes looking at Rhaenyra and her children.
The sudden sound of a high-pitched chuckle could be heard from someone who no one would expect to actually laugh at his wife's funeral.Everyone around moved their eyes to Daemon, who held an amusing smile on his face as he looked down. No one said anything while Vaemond soon continued as the tombstone was being pushed closer and closer to the ocean until the sound of a loud splash could be heard while the stone sank to the bottom. Some time passed and everyone was leaving the docks and towards the castle balcony.
The balcony of the castle was crowded with people as their chatter could be heard all around. Y/n found herself resting her elbows on the rails of the balcony as she watched the waves crash along the shore when Aegon joined her. Not even looking at him, she rested her head on his shoulder, considering he was a bit taller than her as neither of them said a thing, just enjoying each other's presence with one another.
"I missed you." Aegon speaks up.Daenaera smiles sadly, looking down.
"I missed you as well, Aeg, though it's only been a couple of days."
"I know." Aegon mumbles, nodding.
There was a silence between the two as Aegon turned to face her, causing her head to lift up and off his shoulder as she turned to face him as well.Neither of the two noticed the king's gaze on them, remembering the conversation he had with his wife as she reluctantly agreed to
Rhaenyra's offer a few days ago, something that they needed to tell the said princess to see if she still wanted to see if she still agreed. Aegon gently grabs her hands, his violet eyes staring into her dark brown ones as they stood very close to one another.
"There's something l'd like to tell you." Aegon informs.
Daenaera furrows her brows.
"What is it?"
"My father told me of a possible betrothal... between you and I." Aegon tells her, receiving a surprised Expression.
"I wanted to tell you so you weren't shocked if your mother were to tell you."
Nodding a bit, Daenaera leans forward and presses a kiss to his cheek, having to go on her tiptoes a bit before she places her feet back flat on the ground. A couple minutes passed and the two were venturing towards Jacaerys, who was standing near Baela and Rhaena. Aegon gave him a small, tight smile but Jacaerys ignored it and looked down, making the older prince frown.
Daenaera squeezes his hand before leaving his side and coming to her brother, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. Lucerys soon joined them and the Velaryon siblings stood together
as it was getting darker and darker until Rhaenyra came up to them, demanding for them to go to bed before she walked by them. Deciding to do as her mother asked, Daenaera had a hand on each of her brother's shoulders as she led them inside the castle and to their shared chambers.
Night time had come to Driftmark as many people were sleeping soundly in their beds after the funeral. Some of the children found themselves in their shared chambers, some needing to share rooms together. Daenaera could be seen in her bed, her nightgown replacing her usual fancy dress as she slept soundly against the mattress.
A tired and sleepy grunt escaped her when she felt herself being shaken awake, her dark eyes opening up as she turned around to face the person who was shaking her.
The older girl's brows furrow at the sight of her brother and cousins standing there.
Rhaena stood a couple feet away, a candle in her hands to give them light as Baela and Jacaerys had been the ones to shake her awake. Confused and tired, Daenaera sat up until she was leaning on her elbows while glancing between the two, waiting for them to tell her whats going on.
"Someone stole Vhagar." Baela whispers.
Brows furrowed in confusion and concern, the Velaryon girl didn't say anything else as she pushed the covers off her body and got out of her bed, venturing away with her little brother and her cousins.Getting their clothes on from earlier, the children were leaving their chambers as Lucerys had woken up, following right behind them as he wondered what was happening, questioning his sister and brother. It didn't take too long when they were in the tunnels as they saw a figure the size of them walking in their direction.
Daenaera’s eyes widened at the sight of Aemond just a few feet away, no one else but him, showing that he had been the one to ride hagar and it wasn't an adult.
"It's him." Baela points out.
"It's me." Aemond confirms, taking off his cloak.
"Vhagar is my mother's dragon." Baela tells him.
"Your mother's dead." Aemond reminds as he stops in front of them. "And Vhagar has a new rider now”
Rhaena steps forward. "She was mine to claim."
"Then you should've claimed her! Maybe your cousins can find you a pig to ride. It would suit you." Aemond comments with a shrug.Grunting in anger, Rhaena was quick to lunge forward and grab ahold of his arms.
However, Aemond pushed her to the ground with ease just when Baela swung her fist and punched him in the face, only for it to be swung right back at her as he reciprocated her actions, sending her to the ground, threatening to feed her to his dragon. Jacaerys was next as he punched his uncle, only to be kicked to the ground.
Screaming loudly, Lucerys tried to do the same but Aemond roughly punched him in the face. Screaming her little brother's name, Daenaera rushed to Lucerys as Aemond finally looked at her, just noticing she was there with them. Their eyes met as Daenaera stared at him with wide eyes at what he had done to her twin brother and little brother, his nephew’s.
Jacaerys, Baela and Rhaena were quick to get back up and pushed the older prince down to the ground before they were punching at him without a thought, grunts and cries of their anger echoing throughout the tunnels.
Daenaera helped Lucerys to his feet as Aemond had been able to push all of them off, silently apologizing to the girl who had been his only friend and comfort just as Lucerys rushed forward, escaping his sister's arms. His little hands wrapped around his uncle's wrist when Aemond placed his hand around his neck, getting up to his feet while grabbing a rock as he held it up towards the younger boy, showing he was gonna possibly hit it against Lucerys.
The sound of daenaera’s voice pleading for him to stop could be heard, making him stop a bit as he looked between his two nephews, the sound of Lucerys cries being heard.Baela and Rhaena were holding one another tightly, blood on their faces just like the three boys faces after they had hit each other.
"You will die screaming in flames just as your father did!" Aemond exclaims. "Bastards."
"My father's still alive." Lucerys cries.
Aemond raises a brow, looking at Jacaerys. "He doesn't know, does he, Lord Strong?"
Crying out in anger, Daenaera found herself lunging forward as her hands wrapped around his that held the rock tight in his grip. Aemond found himself fighting against her grip, even if he didn't want to, while still holding Lucerys neck as he soon pushed her down, causing her to scrape her hands and knees badly, drawing blood. Jacaerys unsheathed a knife from his side, lunging towards his uncle as Lucerys was pushed away.
Jacaerys swung the knife towards Aemond, who dodged before slamming the rock against his head, sending him to the ground. Aemond held the rock up, glancing to the Targaryen twins, then hesitantly to Daenaera, not noticing that Lucerys was crawling to the knife Jacaerys dropped.
Jacaerys threw some sand to Aemond when he looked back at him just as Lucerys swung the knife forward, slicing right across his uncle's eye.
The sound of Lucerys scream’s of anger, followed by the screams of pain coming from Aemond echoed throughout the tunnels as the white haired prince now clutched his eye that his nephew had sliced across, collapsing to the ground, blood now gushing out onto and through his hand. *
Eyes wide, Daenaera knelt down to his side just to be again harshly pushed to the wall causing her to slam against the wall and start bleeding more as the sound of deep voices could be heard, making her get up and rush to her brothers when one of the guards, Ser Harrold , walked towards Aemond, moving him to face him. Daenaera gulped when Aemond slowly removed his hand when Ser Harrold told him to, showing his bloody and Bleeding eye.

Inside the old-looking castle, in one of the many rooms, adults could be seen inside the council room as they all sat around the table. About an hour had gone by since the incident in the yard, and rumors were going all around about Rhaenyra's children's parentage.
The said princess found herself sitting as she and her once longtime best friend, the queen Alicent Hightower, stared at one another after the slight argument they just had before Alicent was demanding for the meeting to end. King Viserys agreed to his wife's demand, rising up to his feet while everyone followed, all of them except Rhaenyra as she thought of the words she was about to say to the queen sitting right across from her.
"Wait. I wish to speak."
Rhaenyra announces, standing up while everyone else sits back down, except for Alicent.
"I have felt the... strife between our families of late, my Queen.
And for any offense given by mine, I apologize. But we are one house. And long before that, we were friends." Alicent stays silent as they both remember the times together.
"My daughter Daenaera will inherit the Iron Throne after me. I propose we betroth her to your son, Aegon. Ally ourselves... once and for all…..Let them rule together."
Viserys smiles as he slams his hand on the table happily.
"A most judicious proposition."
Many people over the kingdom could see how inseparable
Princess Daenaera Velaryon and Prince Aegon Targaryen were and how very fond they were of one another. Aegon was known to drink a lot and avoided his duties, but with Daenaera it was different. The two were not the same age but Aegon always had a soft spot for the girl.
Anytime she saw them together, Rhaenyra couldn't help but think of how her daughter looked at the boy, something she used to look at her own uncle that way.
She remembers a time her father had told her that his son had once asked him if anyone could be more beautiful than Daenaera, so enamored by her beauty. Her long brown hair and dark eyes, similar features to her real father and her brothers. If anything, Viserys was completely fine with betrothing his son to his granddaughter, having thought about it before. Licking her lips, Alicent doesn't say anything as she thinks of her words. She, like everyone else, had noticed the connection between her son and the princess.
"Additionally, if Syrax brings forth another clutch of eggs, your son Aemond will have his choice of them… “Rhaenyra continues, smiling.
“…A symbol of our good will.”
While she had been speaking, the queen was continuously glancing down at the table and the princess, murmuring her name in a slight warning tone as she glanced down in the direction of her chest.
Following her gaze with furrowed brows, Rhaenyra's eyes widened, her body tensing at the sight of her milk seeping right through her dress, arms quickly coming up to cover it before the lords could see as she sat back down in her seat.
"My dear, a dragon's egg is a handsome gift." Viserys states.
"The King and I thank you for your offer and we will consider it duly." Alicent tells her, glancing at her husband.
"You must rest now, husband."
Nodding in agreement, the king only whispers a small 'yes' to agree with his wife as he rises up to his feet. Once the king and the queen were out of the room, everyone else stood up,
Rhaenyra was still waiting in her seat until she was all by herself to leave. As they walked back to their chambers, the king and queen spoke about the princess' offer and Viserys being happy to betroth the two children to wed one another. He knew his son wouldn't mind it, knowing his fondness of the girl.
A couple hours had gone by since the Targaryen princess had given her offer to the king and the queen, and her chambers were quiet as a few people could be seen inside.
The sun was slowly beginning to set, not as bright as it used to be with the usual bright blue sky turning into a slow grey color. The crackling of fire could be heard from the fireplace in the princess' chambers in hopes of giving warmth to her children.
Standing a few feet away, Rhaenyra held baby Joffrey in her arms as she quietly shushed his cries, moving her arms in a slow pace to rock him back and forth. Just in front of her, her violet eyes watched as Harwin was saying goodbye to his children. It had been decided that the man's father, Lord Lyonel Strong, would take him back to Harrenhall since he was heir after his father, who was Hand to the king.
Daenaera held a frown on her face as she held Lucerys smaller hand in hers, the pad of her thumb caressing his soft knuckles.
"Be good to your mother, children. I'll visit when I can." Harwin assures, standing up from his crouched position.
"But that may be some time."
Frowning just like his Twin, Jacaerys moves to stand by her other side that was near their mother. Daenaera wraps her free arm around his shoulders, pulling him close as their father stops in front of them.
The man's gaze looks to his eldest, his only daughter, his daughter that he swore to protect and keep safe all his life... something that her brothers had also sworn to do as well when they had seen how protective their father was of her. Harwin brings a gloved hand forward, tucking a piece of hair behind his daughter's ear as she continues to frown at him.
"Do you have to go?" Daenaera asks.
"I'm afraid I must, darling. But I will return." Harwin tells her, gently holding hers and Jacaerys chins when they both looked down. "I promise."
Leaning down, he pressed a kiss to the top of her head before he was venturing over to Rhaenyra, leaning down and softly kissing Joffrey's bald head. Him and Rhaenyra were then staring at one another before he bid her a goodbye formally, grabbing his things before walking out of the door.
Seeing that the door had been left open, Jacaerys rushed outside and into the hallway, watching his retreating figure.
Trailing behind her brother, Daenaera sighs as she does the same with Rhaenyra following right behind her two oldest.
Using her free hand, she gently caresses her daughter's hair while looking between the two.
"We will exchange letters by raven. Won't that be fun?" Rhaenyra questions, trying to lighten their mood.
"Is Harwin Strong our father?"
Jacaerys suddenly asks, turning to face the woman.
"Am I a bastard? Are we bastards?"
Rhaenyra looks between her two eldest.
"You areTargaryens. That's all that matters." And with that, she leans down and presses her lips against their foreheads before moving them back into her chambers as she stares down the hallway. They couldn't stay in Kings Landing, and she knew Alicent would never take her offer of betrothing her eldest with her eldest . So she could only think of one place they could go.

The sun was bright, the chirping birds flying high up within the bright blue sky and near the clouds as they ignored anything that was happening down below them. In the fighting grounds within Red Keep, the royal children could be seen fighting makeshift dummies with wooden makeshift swords tight in their grips. Just a few feet away from the four boys , Daenaera sat on the stone cold steps while twirling a flower that her aunt, Princess Helena, had given to her earlier in the day.
Glancing up occasionally, the princess' dark eyes met Aegon's violet eyes as the prince looked up at her like she had been doing to him before he went back to practicing , making sure to look cool in front of her. Just a bit in front of the princess, the Commander of the Kingsguard, Ser Criston Cole, had his hands clasped behind his back as he watched the boys.
While they switched dummies once again as per usual, Jacaerys and Aemond bumped shoulders with one another, not apologizing for saying a word as they walked by each other. Just across from them, Aegon patted Lucerys shoulder before they were fighting again like the other two. Meanwhile, Ser Criston stood beside Aemond, instructing him to do stuff he wasn't doing, like softening his knees, making his feet light as he ignored the frustrated look on the prince's face.
While he swung the woöden sword, Aemond glanced in Daenaera's direction, seeing she was still twirling the flower between her fingers, taking a deep breath in as he continued to do what the guard told him. Jacaerys stabbed his wooden weapon into the dummy in front of him, making the tip of it stick into it just when Aemond used his own to knock it down, causing the brown haired prince to bend down and pick his sword up.
After swinging his sword around, Aegon stopped in his tracks as his violet eyes stopped on two handmaidens walking by, their nervous eyes glancing at him to see the bright smirk etching on his lips as he stared at them just when Criston called out his name, making him look away.
"I've won my first bout, Ser Criston. My opponent sues for mercy." Aegon comments.
Criston shrugs, nodding. "You'll have a new opponent then, My Lord of the Straw. Let's see if you can touch me. You and your brother."
As the guard grabs one of the many wooden swords, Aegon looks to his brother with raised brows as Jacaerys and Lucerys step off to the side. Interested, Y/n stood up and walked over until she was beside her brothers. Soon enough, the Targaryen brothers were letting out grunts as they tried to hit at Ser Criston, but the guard seemed to be quicker than them, using one hand only as the other rested behind his back.
Aegon ran forward to try and hit him but Criston pushed him towards Aemond, causing them to bump into one another as the older prince tried to regain his footing. Unfortunately, neither of the brothers had been able to hit the guard as they moved to stand with the other two brothers and their sister. Meanwhile, just a bit behind them, Ser Harwin had been watching the whole thing as his gaze moved to his children, looking to the boys, calling out to them as they looked over.
"Weapons up, boys. Give your enemies no quarter." Harwin instructs, making Criston look at him.
"It seems the younger boys could do better with a bit of your attention, Ser Criston."
"You question my method of instruction, ser?" Criston asks.
"I merely suggest that method be applied to all your pupils." Harwin replies just when Aegon pushed Lucerys to the side a bit.
"Very well. Jacaerys, come here." Criston demands, harshly grabbing a hold of the front of the boy's armor and pulling him forward.
"You spar with Aegon. Eldest son against eldest son."
"It's hardly a fair match." Harwin points out when Jacaerys looks over at him with a panicked look as Aegon pats his nephew's shoulder.
"I know you've never seen a true battle, ser, but when steel is drawn, a fair match isn't something anyone should expect." Criston argues.
Harwin doesn't say anything else, only staring at the guard with narrowed eyes. From the side, Daenaera felt her little brother grab her hand as she looked at the back of her other brother's head nervously, knowing Aegon was a lot stronger and bigger than him. Noticing this, Aemond reached over and gently grabbed her hand in hope of giving her comfort. When Criston gave them the go, Aegon was the first to do something as he rushed towards his nephew, swinging his sword while Jacaerys stepped back in shock.
Aemond grabbed a hold of Daenaera's hand , pulling her off to the side while Daenaera pulled Lucerys with her when the two boys were rushing right in their direction before Aegon shoved Jacaerys to the ground with one hand, making the younger prince grunt in slight pain. He was quick to get up to his feet, however, lunging towards his uncle while letting out a cry, making Aegon step back in shock. It wasn't long until they were on either side of one of the dummies when the white haired prince pushed the dummy towards his nephew, making him take a few steps back before it fell on him. Harwin points a finger at Aegon.
"Foul play." he yelled
"I'll deal with him." Criston assures.
Either of the men went to the boys, Criston roughly grabbing the collar of Aegon's armor while Harwin did the same with Jacaerys, just more softly than the other man. The sound of their voices could be heard.
When Criston looked back over at the father and son, Harwin had a soft grip on Jacaerys chin as the prince nodded and smiled at the older man, listening to his words.
Aegon clenched his jaw, his cries being heard as they were back to fighting, the occasional sounds of Criston's instructions that turned into a shout as Aegon sent a foot against his nephew's chest, sending him down to the ground. Aegon continued swinging his sword around, listening to the guard. Seeing that Criston wasn't gonna stop it, Harwin was quick to grab ahold of Aegon's sword, stopping the fight while shoving the older prince away, sending him to the ground.
Just above on the balcony, King Viserys I Targaryen had been watching as his grandsons and sons were fighting. Daenaera rushes to her twin brother, helping him up with Lucerys by their side.
"You dare put hands on me?" Aegon screams.
"Aegon!" Viserys calls out in a scolding tone.
"You forget yourself, Strong. That is the prince." Criston reminds.
"This is what you teach, Cole?" Harwin questions, ignoring his words while he grabbed the swords that each of the boys dropped to the ground. "Cruelty to the weaker opponent?"
"Your interest in the princeling's training is quite unusual, Commander.
Most men would only have that kind of devotion toward a cousin... or a brother... or a son." Criston comments in thought.
This finally seemed to be the last straw for Harwin as he dropped the swords, spinning around and roughly punching the guard in the face. This seemed to surprise everyone in the training ground, including the children as they stumbled back. Keeping her brothers close, Daenaera clutched the sleeve of Aegon's shirt while they watched with wide eyes. Criston collapsed to the ground, but Harwin didn't seem to be done yet as he climbed on top of him to continue his assault.
After a couple seconds, two guards rushed over and grabbed a hold of the Strong man, a few more having to rush over to keep the man back from the kingsguard, all while Harwin continued to scream at him to say those words again. Still laying on the ground, Criston smiled as if he had succeeded something before spitting the blood that laid in his mouth out, having a very strong hunch about the relationship between Ser Harwin Strong and the Velaryon children.

The sun was bright, currently hiding behind the white fluffy-looking clouds in the beautiful and bright blue sky that was evident above the kingdom of Kings Landing, the castle standing tall and proud as it had been over the years way before half the people in the kingdom living were even born at the moment.
The streets were crowded outside the wall of Red Keep as the markets were full of civilians trying to buy stuff for themselves and their families as children's laughter could be heard all around, the little people running around and bumping into the adults, ignoring their scolding that the adults were giving them as they continued to chase after one another and there pet animal they had.
Inside the old-looking castle, attendants and guards could be seen all around as the servants did their chores and the guards stood against the walls, postures straight while keeping an eye out for any trespassers that were to come and injure the royal family. The sounds of chatters could be heard all around the castle, people speaking about the princess and her new born son and the youngest child out of her four children that she had, now three of them being boys while one of them being a girl.
In one of the many rooms in Red Keep, three children could be seen inside as they played together while waiting for their mother to return, their biological father in the room with them. Ser Harwin Strong watched as his two sons and daughter played the game they had been playing for the past couple minutes, hoping his lover was alright. It was then that their attention went to the door as the princess and her husband walked inside. Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen smiled when she made eye contact with Harwin, who stood up to his feet, smiling through the pain she was in she made her way to him.
Ser Laenor Velaryon trailed behind his wife, gently rocking the new born babe in his arms as the children grew excited at the sight of their mother. The only daughter of Rhaenyra , Daenaera Velaryon, was the first up to her feet as both her twin brother and little brother followed behind her.Jacaerys Velaryon, dropped the dragon toys he had been playing with down and was quick to follow behind his twin sister. And the second youngest, Lucerys Velaryon, quickly grabbed a hold of the skirt of his sister's dress so he wasn't too far behind, making sure to not tug too hard that it'll rip while they rushed to the spot where the egg they had picked for their new sibling.
Daenaera grabs a hold of the lid of the object, lifting it up to reveal the hot dragon egg they had chosen.
"We chose an egg for the baby." Lucerys tells her.
Rhaenyra lets out a pained chuckle, sitting down on one of the sofas with the help of her lover.
"That looks like the perfect one."
"I let Jace and Luke choose." Daenaera informs.
The sizzling sound could be heard as the smoke was rising from the pot just as Lucerys was slowly reaching a hand forward to touch the egg.
However, Daenaera and Jacaerys were quick to grab a hold of his hand before he could burn himself, to which he snapped it back and towards his chest before Daenaera placed the lid back on.
Glancing to her mother, the girl moves around her brothers until she was seating herself beside her mother.
"Not everyday an egg leaves the Dragonpit, Princess." Harwin states. "I thought it best to escort the children."
"Laenor and I thank you, Commander." Rhaenyra replies.
Harwin nods, looking to his son. "Another boy, I heard."
"What a fine knight you are going to make, eh?" Laenor mumbles to the babe.
"Might I?" Harwin asks.
"Ser Harwin wishes to be introduced to Joffrey." Rhaenyra tells her husband.
Looking up from the infant, Laenor replies with a curt nod as he gently places the new born child, a child they named Joffrey after Ser Laenor's very first lover, in Ser Harwin's arms. Rhaenyra watched with a tired smile before she felt a smaller hand be placed on hers, making her look beside her to see her only daughter staring at her in concern.
"Are you alright, Mother?" Daenaera questions in concern.
Rhaenyra smiles, tucking a strand of her brown hair behind her ear. "I will be, my darling. For now, I am just glad to see you."
The older princess caresses her daughter's dark hair, both smiling at one another as Rhaenyra leans forward and presses a kiss to her daughter's forehead. It was when Lucerys questioned his father if he could hold Joffrey that had them looking over to see the second youngest reach up to his younger brother, but Harwin had been quick to use a hand to slightly push the boys hand away, not wanting to wake up the babe while Laenor moved the boys to the door, looking to the girl he thought of as his daughter, giving her a slight look.
Pressing a quick kiss to her mother's cheek, Daenaera walked past the two adults and out the door with her brothers as Ser Laenor closed the door behind them. Laenor led the three children to the Dragonpit where the two sons of the king and the queen were already at. Prince Aegon II Targaryen smiled at the sight of the Velaryon girl when they made eye contact, not noticing his younger brother, Prince Aemond Targaryen, moved his lips as he made a gagging sound, while rolling his eyes at the sight of the loves truck gaze in his older brother's eyes.
The sounds of chains echoing throughout the dark Dragonpit could be heard, followed by the squeaky sounds of one of the many dragons inside the pit as two men walked along either side of a dragon, their grips tight on the chains. One of the trainers placed a hand on Jacaerys back, moving him forward a bit while the prince stared at his dragon, Vermax.
The sound of Aegon yawnig rather loudly could be heard, but no one seemed to pay any mind to that as Jacaerys took at least two more steps forward. He glanced over his shoulder at his sister, who nodded at him with a small smile before he looked back forward. Reaching up, Lucerys placed his smaller hand in his twin sister's, feeling her hold it back as he leaned into her. The men soon let go of the chains when they were told to, no one seeming to be scared that Vermax was now loose as the creature made its way towards the prince Jacaerys.
"Call Vermax to Heel, Prince Jacaerys." One of the trainers instruct.
"Dohaeris!" Jacaerys calls out in High Valyrian.
Vermax comes to a stop, standing tall as he and the prince stare at one another before the creature let out a slight roar, stepping forward and that had Jacaerys stepping back while commanding the dragon to halt in High Valryian, to which the dragon obeyed. Someone soon walked in with a goat tied to a rope, the sound of the animal catching the dragon's attention.
Vermax ignored Jacaerys as he moved towards the goat when it was tied up, two workers placing their sticks in front of the dragon to stop.
One of the trainers voices explained that they should learn to hold mastery over their dragon, just like Aegon had learned with his own dragon, and once they were fully bounded to their owner, they wouldn't take instructions from anyone else.
"Can I say it?" Jacaerys asks, receiving a nod as he looks at the others excitedly before stepping forward. "Dracarys, Vermax!"
The two workers moved out of the way as Vermax walks towards the goat, standing up a bit before it was blowing out fire, burning the animal in front of him alive. The others all watch and hear as a screech escapes the goat before Vermax came to a stop, stomping forward until he was leaning down and eating the now lifeless and burnt animal. Patting Jacaerys' shoulder, the trainers walked off with the others as the children ventured to the end of the dark part of the Dragonpit.
"Aemond, we have a surprise for you." Aegon informs his brother, making Daenaera look at him curiously.
Aemond furrows his brows. "What is it?"
"Something very special." Lucerys excitedly replies before he was running forward, the others following behind in a walking pace.
"You're the only one of us without a dragon." Aegon points out, getting a nod. "And we felt badly about it, so we found one for you."
Aemond raises a brow. "A dragon? How?"
Aegon shrugs. "The gods provide."
While he didn't show it, the young prince found himself being hopeful at the thought of them finding a dragon for him, even if it wasn't likely.
Looking to his left, he examined Daenaera's face to see if she hadn't known about this. Snorts echoed from the darkness within the Dragonpit, followed by Lucerys pants as he ran up the ramp, a rope in his hand.
Aemond's shoulders dropped, his hands dropping to his sides at the sight of a very chubby and pink-looking pig instead of a dragon. Daenaera rolls her eyes at the makeshift wings they had made out of hay and tied it to the animal.
"Behold-" Aegon begins.
"The Pink Dread!" All of them, other than Daenaera, exclaim before their laughter could be heard.
"Be sure to mount her carefully. First flight's always rough." Aegon states.
And with that, he let out a loud pig snort in his little brother's ear, causing Jacaerys and Lucerys to laugh even more before they did the same as well, walking off afterwards, their laughter echoing throughout the Dragonpit. Reaching over, Daenaera gently squeezes Aemond's hand, making him look at her before she walks off, ready to scold her brother's for following Aegon's lead and taunting Aemond, all while the said prince watches her leave.

WARNINGS: 18+ cursing blood, mental health problems, suicided, cheating, substance use and more.
Here you sat next to Baela at the beach you had been staying with her and her family in Driftmark for spring break as your father still had a lot of work to do and your mother well she was nowhere to be found this was something normal your mother wasn't a very maternal person she always preferring to go out partying then taking care of you or her husband thats why when your father told you that you were going to spend the holiday with Baela you were actually happy you would not be stuck at home all alone with the only company being your nanny’s, maids and bodyguards that have practically raised you.
Baela and you had meet when you where both 4 years old in your kindergarten class no one wanting to be friends with her because she looked different then other kids because of her white hair and dark skin and pale eyes but you didn't care at all and talked to her inviting her to play with you and ever since then you were both inceprabel having spent a lot of time at each other's houses and with each others family but mostly you were over at her house because Baela’s mom Laena felt bad that you had an absent mother and become your motherly figure taking care of you and including you in everything and that's how you meet her cousin’s Aegon,Aemond, Daeron and sweet Helena who you also became friends with.
Ever since then you would also spend a lot of time at the Targaryen/Hightower Mansion as your father was close friend to Otto and Viserys and worked with them.
When you were over you and Helena would force her brothers to play dresses up with both of you or play tae party sometimes at one point you even put makeup on aegon because he fell asleep while you guys were playing and wanted to get back at him and when aegon would bully Aemond you would always stand up for him but even then you still became close to the two brothers the only reason you aren't as close to Daeron was because he was sent away to old town when he was little as you four grew older so did your bond that was until tragedy struck right after your 12th birthday when your mother had gone missing a few days before your birthday no one being able to locate her the only thing you all knew was from all the things she would post on her social media and the money she would spend on your fathers card that was until it all stopped one day no more money being spent her social media gone dry that was until her body was found floating in Blackbay water it looked like she had been there for a while the police could not figure out how she got there and why her body looked the way it did and labeled it as a murder but soon the case was closed due to the lack of evidence and the case went cold.
Everything had been like a blur to you from the moment your father told you she was no more to the funeral to being send away for your well being to an all girls private catholic school you didn't even get the chance to properly say goodbye to your friends one day you were in your room crying for her and the next you were on a private plane to volantis all alone the only thing you remember was you crying to your father to not send you away and the message you sent Aegon,Aemond,Baela on how sorry you were that you did not want this to happen and that you will miss them when both brothers read the message they were confused and anxious as to what you meant and tried calling you to no avail and when they asked there mother she hesitated at first then told them the sad truth that you were gone and she didn't know when you would be back leaving them sad and heart breaking which would some what shape them when there older as for Baela she already knew the cause of the message because her mother had told her beforehand but hadn't been able to visit you on time but that was fine as she had gotten your new phone number and you had talked to each other promising to not forget one another or end your friendship no matter the distance or what the future held for you both.
