I'm so confused about autism. I'm starting learn more why jobs are hard for us to maintain. I did everything I was told to when growing up. why would I lie to vulnerable people? even if isn't anything outlandish but I was taught lying in general was bad. so I'm confused and I don't want to be expected to follow in those same people's footsteps just to get by because it makes me feel uncomfortable even if it's a small lie.

I feel like I did something wrong today at work cuz my boss seemed suddenly offended and mad at me. I was talking about new ideas and things I even looked into cuz I love my job and I'm excited to work alongside someone who's been doing this for years. I even told her I knew she was better at this than me but I'm excited to help. I think maybe she thought I was ridiculing her work? the things she said after made it clear that she probably didn't want to hear from me when it came to any planning other than if I can do it. which wouldn't you just say that to begin with? it sounded like we we're all working together and I thought that ment we talk to each other and teach each other things and praise and critique when needed. maybe it was my voice too? I know I get louder when I'm excited without realizing and maybe I did that and she found it as me being mad at her maybe? cuz after she immediately blamed me for not being there and that was a big reason the things I wanted to do for our work hasn't been done. I feel even worse about taking any more medical stuff in general now.

I think it's just really sticking with me cuz I was really excited to bring up something I wanted to help implement and learn more about other than my own self research but instead got told that I'm not the one running this place (I know that that's I came to talk to you) and that she knows people who think should run this place (I never said that I just wanted to work closer to learn more) and then suddenly told that I'm the reason the things I wanted to help do haven't been done. I feel like shit. I really don't know what I did wrong other than social cues. and I keep replaying it in my head to figure out what was the main issue other than I wanted to help and learn more.

I'm just sad that I'm starting to realize why jobs that are recommend to autistic people aren't that social. I want to socialize but just because I'm bad at it and unable to see the same way most do shouldn't have to condemn me to not working with the public at all. should it? sometimes I wish A.I would take my job just so I don't have to keep acting like one myself. why do humans get mad when humans human? I just feel like shit. if I can't even get showing that I want to help right, how the fuck am I ever gonna be a nurse?
