While this little mf ends up dead in every version of the story. Which is something I'm absolutely very okay with and even more normal about </3

I’ve been offline for a bit because of family issues, but I wanted to take a moment to share my first-ever commissioned fanart! I loved what @gutlotus did for a friend’s commission, so I had to ask for Raybins. I wanted a piece with hybrid elements from the book and movie. I also chose a reference pose that could be interpreted as menacing or possessive at first glance, but with facial expressions that show the sweeter side of Ray and Stebbins’ relationship.
Hey everyone! I had to take a break for a bit because my mom was hospitalized and then passed away earlier this week. I’m also getting ready to have major surgery.
But I haven’t left the TLW fandom! In the near future, I’ll have my first commissioned Raybins piece to share with everyone (or at least the 20 or so people who like the ship).
Feel free to send any Stebbins or Raybins related asks, and I’ll try to get to them before my procedure. It would actually be a welcome distraction!

Some attempt at a webweave for the fifth day of the Hank appreciation week^^
I felt so unwell about him when I made this, especially while going through his later passages in the book again ( which also made me want to re read again even more, but that's besides the point here) but. There's something so jarring to me about the way he begins to struggle pretty early in the book, even if the catatonic state only really sets at a later point.
On another note- I'm kinda sad that they mostly got rid of the religious aspect of his character in the movie ( Not only because I think it was quite interesting, but also because something about it made " God's garden is full of weeds" even more haunting to me </3
Anyway, I'm actually pretty content with how this turned out, so.
