What were your honest thoughts on Everest base camp? I'm very interested to know about it. I read your blog post and it seemed like you both liked and disliked the experience. Do you think it's worth it?

it was the best thing i've ever done... a big part of that was that I did it on my own i think, but that aside it was still amazing. I want to do it again with joey. worth it for sure

how much did you spend on your recent nepal trip? heading there in november, so excited !!

nepal cost us each $3700 including flights... in saying that I think at least $1000 was spent on shopping and we also went to Perth on the way home for a wedding... So it was probably around $2000 for Nepal alone, maybe a little less

Have you tried mini pill version of contraception? I found combined pill lowered my sex drive dramatically rip

I am off the pill entirely now... have been for about 4 months. sad to report my sex drive is still totally and entirely missing. I'm not on any medication now so i'm going to give it a few more months before I start making other changes. I LOVE being off the pill though. feels great and its so nice to just be myself for the first time in 10 years.... crazy

going to Bali for a week next year - do you recommend uluwatu or seminyak to stay? not sure which is better

uluwatu for sure. seminyak is DONE in a big way. If you want seminyak vibes go to Changuu but tbh thats almost done too, id try somewhere further north! the traffic in changuu and seminyak is just not worth it

Is your nomad / free traveller era over? Now that you have a full time job? I’m planning a big trip and am reading your blog, Ty for inspiring my love for travel a few years ago !! Hope you’re enjoying your new job xx

I mean no not really. It was never feasible (nor desirable) for me to travel full time as I love having a home base and fashion too much lol (2 things that are not compatible with travel) Last year while having a full time job I was till able to go to thailand, nepal, indo, sri lanka and vietnam on 3 seperate trips which I think is pretty impressive. While I dont have the total freedom i used to have with time, I just have to be a little more creative. This year I will go to europe for 5 weeks over the summer and that might be it... but its okay bc making the most of going away at the weekend and romanticising everyday life.. its beautiful!

Are you and your partner open? And do you have any advice for dating a sex worker?

no we are not open and we never have been. I only worked in a club for a small portion of our relationship and i guess as that is how we met it was never really an issue or a conversation for us.

it can be emotionally challenging dating a sex worker or someone in the industry but for me the simplest solution is reminding yourself that is it work. Often these jobs can be done with absolutely no attachment or emotion whatsoever and I guess you're the lucky one that gets to have it for free hehe

How would you recommended to start decorating a house??? I’ve just moved into my boyfriends and it’s such a dude house!!!!!

pintrest and instagram are great places to gather style inspiration (just as a start) as for actually sourcing... once you've trained your eye a little and you know what you're looking for then start thrifting!!!! aim to go to 1 or 2 second hand stores a week and try and always leave with something... even if its just a mug. facebook marketplace should also become your best friend. home decor is so expensive when you buy it new and there is so much out there!! so start hunting !!

Hi! What camera did you use for your hikes?! And did you bring regular high street type sunglasses or have to get specific ones at all? i don’t want to buy glasses that i don’t think are still funky hehe x

I have a minolta dynax film camera and then i just shoot on my iphone 13 pro max!!! as for sunglasses... i have a pair of Oakleys and they are life changing... I would never wear anything else.

How do you think your life changed since getting a “corporate job” ??

Honestly it has all been super positive change. I always work best under pressure and I definitely feel more positive and excited about my day-day. It was an adjustment when I first started, mainly having to get up SO early to exersize and do depop before 9am AND not being able to travel. two things that i've managed to work my way around. I'm really enjoying being a part of a team and also having somewhere to be everyday where my mind is taken out of itself a little. I wish I had started full time work a lot earlier aha

How are you travelling now that you have a full time job?

Just making the absolute most annual leave. I actually went on 2 months unpaid leave over christmas which was how we went on our asia adventure... but yeah summer in europe will be annual leave

do you have a stretch routine??

yeah i do! i stretch 10 minutes everyday (or at least I aim to) i focus on knee, hip and groin stretches
