ill say it. i love perachel vs. percabeth. i love rachel writing down her phone number on percy’s hand during the failed percabeth date. i love that the first time percabeth reunites after their first kiss in botl percy says they need to find rachel. i love annabeth being pissed about it and percy saying “so much for being the bravest friend she ever had.” i love chiron saying straight up “annabeth is jealous.” i love “i played dumb” “was it hard?” i love rachel kissing percy in the prius. i love beckendorph saying “im guessing you don’t want me to mention that to annabeth.” i love annabeth flying a helicopter to save rachel’s life. i love rachel ending the whole thing by just being like “nvm.” i love percy calling the chapter “i am dumped.” i mean, the DRAMA. the ANGST. the sixteen-year-old FLIRTING. it’s all top tier

A List of Flubs/Mishaps from 5/8/22:

BESIDES the 15 minute surprise intermission 10 minutes in for tech difficulties (presumably the lighting/riser):

Satine’s hat fell off

A charm fell off her dress

A piece of the tuba fell off on stage

Satine’s blue robe costume came loose and was unfastened for the end of act 1

When Christian slammed the door shut it opened back up so the Duke didn’t have to knock and many lols ensued from the audience

I’ll die believing the Duke forgot his lines at one point and had to be fed lines through his ear piece change my mind but I do have no proof

The lighting was broken the entire show none of the lights surrounding the mezz worked

The riser was also broken the entire show so no rising took place

That was ALL CHAOS but our best guys Aaron Tveit and Ricky Rojas did SO SO SO GOOD. I’ll miss them so much, it was a magical evening… but also, having seen it like way more than my fair share of times, and there almost never being ANY issues, last night was madness.

Today (5/8/22) was the last performance of Moulin Rouge on Broadway with the OGs Aaron Tveit and Ricky Rojas. Also Natalie Mendoza! And this would've been Tam Mutu's last performance if not for covid making him leave last week instead.
