I was just mindlessly scrolling and stumbled upon a post. In the comments, @throwawayyyyyyyyyyy111111 has pasted a link to a 230+ pages Google doc which they had created and pilled in majority of @hrrtshape (deactivated) posts/asks. Personally, I don't know this blogger since i only joined tumblr in march this year but yeah I was curious, im always curious so i searched the link up immediately.

I read the first page AND I FEEL LIKE EVERY SHIFTER NEEDS TO READ THIS! I know the doc is very very long.. but I think it's quite worth it if you're doubting shifting or just unable to shift.

Lloyd, the legendary green ninja. Prophesised for the final battle long before he was born. The physical connection between all life. Who had golden powers and whose powers are a combination of the four elements of creation.

But what about Ava?

Lloyd holds destiny and followed paths—Ava holds chaos and the unknown. Ava has pure elemental power. Where her brother is creation, she is destruction. Where her brother is life, she is death. A perfect harmony for the decendants of the first spinjitzu master; a harmony mimicking that of the previous generation.

Ava's powers are built of the very essence of elemental energy. Pure energy can be unstable, unpredictable. It isn't to be controlled, but rather to be shaped. Ava is pure, intense, immense, power. Ava is energy. She finds the harmony within the chaos and moves with it.

Where Lloyd has followed destiny, Ava's destiny isn't as clear. But both are about balance, flowing with the tide. And in turn they balance each other.

Fantasy dr - Plot ideas

In my dr I'm a witch learning all I can about magic and brewing magical teas. It's cosy and relaxed.. but I know that's not everyone's vibe. So I've thought up some plots and prompts you could script, on the off chance that someone's wanting to shift here!

#1 - You've always been interested in the Wilderness. You learn everything you can about it and it’s magic. Eventually, you try to find a way there. You aim to be the first to go there and return, to be the first to map it, and to discover new magic on the way. This is no easy feat. If you do successfully get there, you must find a way to survive this unknown realm and get home safely.

#2 - You're part of the royal family in a kingdom where magic is banned, but you learn about it and become a witch. You have to hide your witchcraft while being fascinated by magic and the lost history of magic that your kingdom destroyed after the war.

#3 - You're part of the royal family but you fall in love with a witch (or the other way around) — forbidden romance!

#4 - While on a walk in the forest, you find a ring of mushrooms, and step inside. Next thing you know, you're in the Wilderness. You must learn magic and become a witch to survive and find a way home.

#5 - In a kingdom where magic is banned, you manage to form a coven, and together you discover all you can about magic while trying to keep it secret.

#6 - You're a historian researching through the events of the war, while also tracking where magical knowledge got lost and why

#7 - You hope to remove the ban/restrictions on magic that were made after the war. You want magic to be used widely again. You have to balance advancing this movement while not getting caught for being a rogue witch. Maybe you'll expose royal secrets and covered-up history.

#8 - You're living before the war, while magic was still largely used; or the war never happened, and magic has helped make more technological advancements across the world.

#9 - The same as my dr! You're living in a cosy cottage where a forest edge meets a village. You keep journals about magic and try to learn as much as you can about it. Maybe you even sell spells to the people in the village.

I haven't talked abt this dr in a whileee!! There are only a few more things that I'm wanting to say about it, so definitely ask if you have any questions or want me post something in particular! Idk if anyone is actually wanting to shift here but I rlly hope someone is bc that would be awesome!

My "controversial" take on shifting as a minor.

Im gonna talk from experience. I grew up in a very religious and abusive family. I was abused since i can even remember and ofc not gonna dive here about the horrors i went through, but i was one of the girls that had to mature up way earlier than anyone should. You just cant know the feeling without actually living it.

You cant know the heartbrokenness of looking at others' families and pity yourself.

you cant know the physical pain of your childhood getting robbed.

you cant know how it is to think back and all you feel is resent.

And when i think of shift especially permashift all i can think of is being a careless girl in a loving family. with people that actually care about me, little dinner dates, daddy's girl allegations, growing up with a pet, summers in countryside, being unafraid to live. literally anything you can dream of.

Having a mom to share your secrets without being scared, physical intimacy without thinking if they'll act different tomorrow, JUST having a dad i can hug, share meaningful conversations with. I cant even imagine the thrill of night car rides.

thats why i wanna shift as a 14 year old or something, when my CR life went downhill horribly. to experience the teenage love, to experience awkwardness, cringe joy, having a silly youtube account with my cousin, dyed pink hair, going to concerts together.

and thats why it hits different and extra hard when people think its "weird" to shift to become a kid again.
