The art of Lilly Maria

A fresh 3D animation graduate. I decided to put myself up for the challenge to make at least one drawing a day! Well not only drawings...paintings, sketches, - generally any kind of artwork! I created this blog to track my progress, and help me with my motivation. I'm guessing most days I won't have enough time to put a lot of effort and consideration, while other days I will! So bear with me as I try and squeeze out a little creativity everyday!

Here's a bouncing ball animation test I did with TVPaint. Trying to get a feel of the program, it took me TWO DAYS to do this simple animation since I'm not used to the interface! But now I feel a lot more comfortable with it, so hopefully my workflow improves drastically :)

Got myself a new Fintec palette 😭😭😭 I, Lilly Vorosmarthy, am a Fintec watercolour addict. I love the colors so much. Fine lilac is my absolute favourite. Here are a couple swatches. I accidentally wrote green pearl with the blue green colour, please mind that. Thanks @stickerrific for the paints, and letting me letter in the back corner of the store! 💕

Today I had such a lovely day with my best friend. We ate pizza, listened to the Moana soundtrack, while we lettered for hours. It was bliss. We ended up making bookmarks for our friends, as well as for eachother. Teaching my bestie to create calligraphy was so much fun, and she progressed so fast! Here she snapped a photo and edited it, ain't it gorgeous?? She's so wonderful with photography!
