Mobster, pointing a gun at my head: Any last words kid
Me: I actually like to use women's deodorant because the stuff for men dries out my skin and smells like harsh chemicals
*BANG*
(3 hours later, at Walmart)

Hmm...
hey everyone, puppet again. its its 6th time getting terminated in less than 40 hours! when it didnt even post a photo.
as always, its a disabled and homeless transfem, living purely off donations and its only community being in tumblr. its PayPal is here if you can help, and it really appreciates any reblogs.
whoever keeps making these "user generated reports" can you just leave it the hell alone and get a life? its already had to shut up more just to get a chance here but thats not even enough now. its not enough until its dead, is it?
fuck tumblr staff. fuck matt "vacations in occupied palestine" mullenweg. none of you deserve to live after what you do to us.
love you, girls ♡♡♡

WONT SOMEBODY THINK OF THE MEN?!
the men and men defenders didn't like this one. almost like this comic about how men don't understand how them imposing is annoying is about that very thing or something.
Once when I was in undergrad, someone described something as “problematic” in class and our professor was like, “That’s cool, but ‘problematic’ doesn’t really mean anything. It means that the thing you’re describing has a problem, and in and of itself that’s not bad. Art, especially, should always have problems, or else it’s not interesting and not art, either. It sounds like you’re trying to say that this is bad, but you don’t want to say ‘bad.’ Is that right?”
So from then on whenever one of us called something problematic, he would make us talk it out until we could name the “bad” thing we were hinting at. In this particular class, 7/10 it was some type of oppression, and the remainder was like, “I’m uncomfortable because this is very new/confusing/pushing boundaries that made me feel safe.”
Once we stopped calling things “problematic” and stopping at that, class got way more interesting and... we all had to say, like, “that’s racist” or “that’s misogynistic” or “ew capitalism gross” out loud, which a lot of us had never done in a classroom before. Or we had to be like, “Uhhh... I’m not sure what’s so bad?” and confront our own beliefs and that was maybe even more useful.
Anyway. Whenever I see the word problematic, I can’t help but think of this professor being like, “Good starting point, now let’s get specific.” I think when we have to commit to saying “that’s ___” it requires a lot more careful thought about the truth and impact and complexities of whatever we’re claiming. Sometimes there really is some bullshit afoot, and also sometimes it’s art, and it should be full of problems, because that’s what art is.

you put those tags on this post where they belong
when you deny a word its meaning, you are saying "this isn't a concept worth communicating or describing."
when you continually push men into the definition of lesbianism, you are saying "women who love women aren't a concept worth communicating or describing."
If a word is so vague that it means something different to everyone saying it, such that every time you say the word you are forced to clarify its meaning, the word is useless.
Language's primary purpose is to convey meaning to other people. That's what words are for.
If everyone has a personal definition for lesbian, and therefore forces anyone who uses it to go on and explain what they mean when they say it, the word is useless.
I refuse to let this continue to happen. A lesbian is a woman who loves women. End of fucking story. Get your own words.
