For decades she lived alone inside the ruins of an overgrown temple where the forest slowly reclaimed ancient stone. Travelers began calling her the “Emerald Witch,” though she’s more healer than witch.
Eventually she left the forest after receiving visions that something ancient was awakening beneath the roots of the world.

Caspian is a male, he/him merfolk. He can be loud, rambunctious, and strong willed at times but he means well. He takes care of those around him and is a great and loving friend. He has a human form as well that is basically what he looks like now, just with his hair tied back and no horns. The markings on his chest are tattoos.

Sterling Blackwood was born the youngest son of House Blackwood, an ancient noble family whose wealth came from vineyards, trade, and generations of political influence. From childhood he was taught etiquette, diplomacy, music, and swordsmanship, not because he was expected to inherit the estate, but because every Blackwood was expected to represent the family with dignity.
Despite his privileged upbringing, Sterling never cared much for power. He preferred wandering the castle library, attending masquerade balls, and speaking with servants rather than nobles. He often questioned why his family valued status above kindness.
Everything changed one winter evening.
While returning from a diplomatic gathering, Sterling’s carriage was ambushed by bandits. Gravely wounded and left to die in the woods, he was discovered by an ancient vampire. Rather than letting the young noble perish, the vampire offered him a choice:
“Die as Sterling Blackwood…or live forever as something else.”
Sterling chose life.
He awoke nights later with a thirst he could barely control. Horrified by what he had become, he hid his condition from his family. Eventually the truth surfaced, and House Blackwood declared him dead to protect their reputation.

Now Sterling travels the world as an adventurer. Rumors of an old curse tied to the Blackwood bloodline have reached him, and he hopes that by uncovering the truth behind his transformation, he might finally reclaim his family’s honor, or decide that the name Blackwood deserves to end with him.
