Howdy, folks! Administrator & Game Master Roulette here to bring you some exciting news from the old and new staff helping run Astral Cabal! First, weâd like to give a thank you to all of those who have helped us within the art team and with moderation. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!
With this, we can finally announce our future aspirations: Thatâs rightâ You guessed it! Our next project coming late summer to this coming fall, Astral: Black & Blue! Iâm very excited to announce this project, as itâs been tough for me to keep it in so long. Hellâ You mayâve even seen a teaser for one of the games before! If you did, props to you! Youâre ahead of the game!
With this, weâll give you a bit of information on the settings, new moderators & game masters, and application updates for the upcoming games.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Astral: Black & Blue are two games that will be occurring at the same time. Each is expected to have a class of 18-24 students. The games will take place in settings similar to an Ocean and an Ice Tundra. We expect to include new mini-games alongside any other player suggestions to improve your experience with Astral.
NEW MODERATORS & CREDIT:
As in Astral Academia, the founder of Astral Cabal, Admin Roulette, will be hosting Astral: Black. Our new Moderator we had received some time ago, Mod Potato, also known as the Admin of Once Upon A Trial, will be hosting Astral: Blue. We will switch around once in a while and be sure to help keep each otherâs games in check, alongside us helping roleplay each otherâs NPCs and whatnot when needed. Alongside your GMs, Mod Em and Mod Nikki will help run as CO-GMs and we will have two other general moderators, Mod Bit and Mod Gin.
Plot credit belongs to Admin Roulette with the help of Mod Potato. Other small tweaks will be from the assistance of our CO-GMs.
APPLICATIONS:
Applications for AC:B&B are currently closed. They will be opened as soon as Astral Academiaâs end game will be posted and will last two weeks to a full month depending on how much feedback we receive. We are allowing applicants to apply two characters at most, and talents used in Astral Academia are deemed unacceptable to apply for these new games.Â
The new APPLICATION TEMPLATE has been updated on the old templateâs page for all applicantâs benefits. We also have a new page for talents not being accepted in AC:B&B. Feel free to check that out so that you donât accidentally apply with an unacceptable talent!

There was something oddly peaceful about the hallways during a skipped class. The walla of classes going on was not enough to pull a lone lumbering figure from their seemingly pointless walking. No, they didnât appear to be in a rush nor were they bleeding out of any wounds.
Nope. They were just being a lazy fuck and skipping class.
Iori attempted to walk as silently as they could, ears perked and ready for any new sounds the environment might produce. They were familiar enough with the sounds of their own foot steps tap tap tap taptap tap taptaptap tap to the soft shhshh of pant legs brushing against each other. They could imagine the soft sounds layered over their newest project (which was waiting for them back at the studio and was mUCH MORE INTERESTING THAN MATH HELLO~) But that was neither here nor there.
Right now, they were stuck at school, not working and sure as hell not wasting time in that class room (she called them a distraction like really? they had just been testing out different pencil sounds against the desk like any other bored student and she called them a distraction which just pissed them off and made them ask to use the rest room with loudest steps possible to leave the room).Â
It was the smallest noise of another person, above the walla of classroom and their own sounds that made them stop. Funny how small distractions can ruin a piece, donât you think? Without even looking at the other person with them, they called over their shoulder.

School, in Rina's opinion, was too boring. Too pointless. What was the point of P.E. if they wouldn't let her at least vault off of a wall or something? It's not like she'd get hurt! Everyone should know that. Jeez.
And so, she'd easily faked a fall. It wasn't hard to do, and it didn't hurt or anything, but it was enough to get her sent to the nurse's office. Which was exactly the sort of plan she needed! She'd been hoping to get some footage today for a new video. She just had to figure out what camera angles showed off her ability the best. She could always put it on her head, but then she'd need a helmet and just... Ew. No thanks.
Humming the song she'd chosen for this video, she worked on her plans for it. She'd seen an outdoor market lead into a tight city space the other day, and figured that would work well. She could use fire escapes, staircases... Anything would work. She figured she'd finish with a night shot involving a highway somewhere. How cool would that be?
She was pulled out of her daydreaming by a voice in front of her, and she lifted her head to look, squinting a little as she did so.
"M'shoes?"
Jogging to make pace with the other, she tossed her braid over her shoulder, squinting further with a tilt of her head.
"I mean, they got grip on 'em so runnin' is easier, tho' I defs have better ones for actually runnin'..... But why would'ja wanna see 'em? Ya got a shoe fetish?"

This would make AC current seem more da-da-dangerous and Edison less of a mu-monster. Isnât true, though. What a t-terrible person."
Minoru took a quick breath. Jesus, that was terrible to go through.

She blinks slowly, as if trying to process this.
"... What the fuck. Apart from bein' mildly terrifyin', that wasn' even fun. Ya gotta think of somethin' excitin'."
