Howdy! My name is Emily, @emily-the-shark ! DDLC has been my LONGEST fixation for YEARS! I was into it since 2017, and I have made multiple ask blogs before. Monika is a main one I have always been interested in, and.. I thought to myself, why not do a Monika blog? I feel confident enough to write her, I study her and know a shit ton about her!

💚Alright, before we get into it.. here are the rules!💚

1. No hatefully charged asks, this means the basic immoral shit.

2. I will not accept 18+, NSFW asks. Even though DDLC is very dark in nature, and I am willing to answer those asks, I will not accept majorly NSFW topics in my asks. Maybe suggestive or implied... but thats as far it will go. Don't like? Leave.

💚Other info/what to expect on this blog💚

-I am a strictly canon gal, so I will do what I can to make this feel like the REAL Monika! But... please don't take what she says seriously! Remember, she is JUST a fictional character, I am a 19 year old girl, not the real Monika.

-I am okay with any shipping content! This also includes: self shipping with yourself or using an oc to self ship with Monika! This is a safe place for y'all hehe.

-I MAY illustrate some asks, it depends if I am even motivated enough to do it.

-I accept roleplays! I freaking LOVE world building and expanded the characters I roleplay as! Yes, even crossover stuff.

Hi Monika! Who would be a better Vice President, Sayori or Yuri?

Ah.. well, it's a bit unfair to categorize them on who is better, isn't it? The both are good at what they do with great qualities!

Sayori as Vice President.. she definitely keep things lively, hehe~ She definitely knows how to get everybody in a good mood! ...Even if she can be a bit much sometimes.

Yuri as vice president.. She is smart, sophisticated, and a timid girl. She may not be as bubbly, but things could go a little different. She is more of an introvert, she doesn't do well with people, but she is much more passionate about literature, after all!

It's hard to choose!

Hmm. Well, I do prefer coffee! A nice, iced cup of coffee definitely gets me going at the start of a school day! I do try my best to avoid the sugar but.. I indulge in it sometimes, so I put some creamer and a few flavors in it.

OOC: I can't quite tell if this is based on canon or in a real-world type AU and so my mind immediately went to "asker casually mentions something that alludes to Monika being a program & immediately causes an existential crisis"

Ooc// I ACTUALLY DIDN'T THINK MUCH ABOUT THAT GULPS well.. I was honestly thinking of taking the approach of if an ask talks about Monika being stuck in the game or anything of that likes.. the text would glitch.. and mostly not acknowledge it in ways. It's a little tricky, because she's like mostly open about it towards the player, then once act 2 is done, she straight up doesn't care anymore, so within her, with other anons who mention it MAY be a bit difficult on how I think she would approach it, because this kind of spotlight is a little different. I was thinking of writing her like she was within act 1! Obviously.. you'll see hints of how she is like in act 2.

I am doing canon and in game! (She somehow got access to this tumblr but like that part doesn't have to make sense. She is already here.)

Also, sorry. I yap a lot. Im very passionate about Monika lol

It's going great so far! I've wrote a poem to share with the Club, and lots of them liked it. It's got me thinking, though..

🖊Writing tip of the day! Sometimes, you can be hit with writer block. It's something many writers face! However, you should never be discouraged! Taking a break and spending your quality time with nature or focusing on the things around you, may rise up some inspirations to help you go with the flow. And when it does, don't forget to write it down to save those thoughts for later!
