hey! i’m crystalcoral :) i draw steven universe stuff and a whole bunch of ocs (like, a lot lol). most of my art is super inspired by su — like gemsonas, fusion designs, spooky & symbolic characters, all that fun stuff.

i’m always doodling new characters or reimagining ones from the show, and i kinda live for making things colorful and expressive. if you’re into su or just like cool original characters, follow me! i post pretty often and love sharing my art w evryone.

INTRODUCING.. NEPTUNITE!

• Fun Facts:

I forgot to add “they” instead of she so there are some errors in the sheet given..

Age: 10,000+ years old

They are the biggest person in the group (currently)

They are the strongest in the group (?)

I combined the elements of The Regular Ghostface Mask with some sprinkles of the Scream VI mask, & the Jason Vorhees mask to give them a hauntingly creepy yet cool effect. I was originally going to give them a body like any other gem, but I like the furry coatish, rough outcome they have. And Ghostface has a similar robe to the one I gave them so, it worked out well.

They love to take a break from the group and go to the Moon & Neptune.

They love to float, hover and fly.

They are stronger than Yellow and Blue Diamond.

If they were there when Yellow and Blue visited the Crystal Gems, they would’ve possibly.. won the 2v1.

Their gem represents a multi facet cut Diamond, hinting at their powers and potential.

Calico Stone + Jasper + Pearl?

MOOKAITE!

As pretty as she looks, she would most likely be a mess i think. If it came to protecting steven then i feel she would be somewhat more stable than what she is without a ladder for her purpose, and Jasper likes steven now and so does pearl, Calico doesn’t really think much of Steven, she just sees him as a human, but if she needed to save someone she would.

Abilities (?)

I feel she could combine Calicos “Prism Shard Manipulation” + Jaspers “Spin Dash” with Pearls acrobatic/agile skills to make a Crazy Twirl towards enemies.

She could also summon Jaspers Helmet and combine that with Pearls Spear and Calico’s Club to make a Spiked Helmet! Similar to Pinhead but less eery and more colorful!

Introducing: CALICO STONE! (A fake gem, code name for a type of jasper)

She took 6 hours to draw, im happy with how she came out! I wanted her to resemble a type of Jasper while still being a new gem with a new design.

She loves to dance and pick flowers in her own greenhouse! and she loves to whistle and sing high notes. She can also jump really high and she also has the ability to fly! (forgot to add to her skillset.)

Back on homeworld she used to be one of the main gems tasking others for missions. She came on earth and found the crew and they welcomed her with open arms, she realized how much she loved earth instead of working to destroy it and she was just so tired of working on homeworld.. her favorite gems are Coral, Angelite, and Cat’s Eye Opal (😉) she kind of fears Sodalite because Soda is kind of standoffish lol.

She also loves to shapeshift into cats!

A fusion of Nepheline & Moonstone.

Their design took 3 hours

They get overwhelmed when pitched a hard serious mission, they have the mindset to make everything perfect & exactly how the request was asked.

Moonstone and Nepheline don’t really interact within the group much, but as Pacific Opal they click really well! • They are just associates, but both of them really can feel both of their energies clash and understand each other as if they were closer than they are as PO.

They love to fly to the moon (haha) & to visit Neptunite …A old, old, pre historic friend!

Unique Abilities:

Cosmic Voice of Revelation: They speak with a voice that echos across realms. Their words can heal, enlighten, or drive listeners into madness depending on intent.

Dual Future Sight: They perceive branching futures both through Nepheline’s eternal awareness and Moonstone’s astral visions.

Thunderstorm Dominion: They can command storms, tidal waves, gravity wells, and currents of air or liquid, reshaping the battlefield on a massive scale.

Ethereal Shifting: They can phase between physical, spiritual, and dreamlike states, making them untouchable, invisible, or present in multiple planes at once.

I had sm fun designing her and she’s so mysterious and odd looking, I love designs that will confuse me when fusing them, like wdym how im gonna fuse a bald gem with a gem with hair? still need to figure that out though.. but here is Nepheline she is a very high rank gem in the group of my OC’s and is kind of a tad overpowered.

Forgot their personality but: Moonstone is like a gem who rarely panics, keeping an almost meditative calm, they might come across as otherworldly, speaking in soft, cryptic, or poetic ways. Their voice echos, even though they don’t have a mouth. They also hover.
