Three days ago I watched this interview of Cheryl Strayed on “How To Become a Writer, The Power of Art and More” (this is the title if you want to watch it on YT) and it was truly amazing and inspiring! This interview (done by Marie Forleo) put me into tears at a certain point, I don’t even have words to express how I felt after watching this discussion, it was extremely moving, inspiring and powerful! If you ever feel sad or just having a bad time, I highly recommend you to watch some of Cheryl Strayed’s interviews, because Cheryl’s words of wisdom is the best medicine ever!

Speaking about Cheryl, I today received 3 of her books! “Torch”, “Brave Enough” and “Advice on Love and Life from someone’s who has been there”. I can’t wait to finish my exams to read all of them! Side note : Brave Enough is a book of quotes from Cheryl and what I am planning to do is not to read it in one sitting but read one quote every day!

hi, i was wondering how you do your titles for your notes, theyre always so neat and fancy looking! do they take you very long?

ah thank you so much!! they only take a couple minutes actually; i’m really bad at using brush pens so i fake my “calligraphy” by just writing in cursive then thickening the downward strokes :)

Do you have any tips for someone who has Dyslexia and handwriting sucks? I need all the help I can get!

hi! sorry i probably can’t be much help for this because i don’t have a lot of experience/knowledge about dyslexia, but i’ve found/come across some stuff that might work for you!

first i’d recommend practicing as much as possible. there’s a form of writing called “continuous cursive” that’s sort of half print, half cursive; a quick google search should bring up some example pictures. i believe it’s supposed to help with forming the continuation of the word, which would subsequently make your writing flow more smoothly/easily (aka neater writing).

also, apparently gathering your thoughts/making an outline before you start writing is supposed to help. if you have an idea of what you’re about to put on paper then it should be easier to write smoothly and with less effort.

finally (and most importantly), don’t stress about how your writing looks too much! as long as you can understand them, focus on their content & studying them before putting extra pressure on yourself for them to look a certain way. good luck & let me know if any of these help at all!!
