idk what is happening and why i’m doing this to myself, but i am rereading both of these books (a little life and the secret history) simultaneously, alternating betweeen them. they’re both emotionally-demanding as you all know, and i truly do not understand why i like doing this kind of literature torture to myself. i truly don’t. but oh well, here we are.

Sunday morning started with a cappuccino and some pardule (tipical Sardinian pastries) in an old café close to the historical centre of the city. Then I went to a thrift/flea market nearby with my parents, and found a lot of interesting old and vintage books (from the last decades of the 19th century to the 2000s). Everything had a thrilling dark academia vibe ✨

- classes are starting back up for me tomororw ! it has been a nice and relaxing break and I am definitely ready to get back into my studies:) hope everyone had a nice winter break

took a moment or ten today to go through my bookshelves and make a list of everything i own that i haven’t read yet. we’ve got 59 books to read and somehow i’m as thrilled as if i’d gone to the bookstore and picked up 59 new books in one sitting. as you can well imagine, i’m feeling beyond pleased with myself
