Erica Jong, from a poem titled "Statue," featured in Loveroot: Poems, originally published in 1975
one of the worst things about being a writer is when you have to sit on your hands about a REALLY COOL SPOILER. and you just want everyone to know about the really cool spoiler you want them to know so so so badly but the best way for them to learn it would be to experience it and you also want them to do THAT so you’re just sitting on your hands vibrating and making a low whine while your dog looks at you with concern. and then your friends go “what’s wrong”. and you go PLEASE I NEED TO TELL YOU. and they go “oh okay so tell me”. and you go NO,
Hey guys, let's say hypothetically I revealed that I actually liked deadpool in x-men origins and thought that the take on the character, despite obviously not being comic accurate or true to the character in general, was actually really interesting to me and fun to watch. Would you still like me or would Ryan Reynolds hire a hitman to assassinate me.
Anyway, Alternative version and dumb joke comic that's totally unrelated under the cut:

This might strike you as a wierd question, but I would realize to know.... How does Neil Gaiman get his groceries? He is human like us, and probably needs sustenance like us, so does he go to the grocery store himself? Or does he have them delivered? Or does he do curbside pickup? Is there a non zero chance of me running into Neil Gaiman at the grocery store?
(Thanks for sharing your wonderful stories with us. The Sandman is my favorite. I hope you'll maybe read my book when I finish it and hopefully get it published.)
If you're in the Woodstock area there is certainly a greater than zero chance of running into me buying groceries in Hannafords or Sunfrost or Sunflower, for example.
