The Hyacinth, or Blue, Macaw is a gentle boi and the biggest birb of his species of parrots. These kind critters always have their bestie by their side, ride-or-die style, whether it be snacking on nuts & legumes, or flying around Bolivian, Brazilian, or Paraguayan rainforests.

However, unlike doggos, they are not best friends with humans. Humankind has attempted to capture, breed, and domesticate these beautiful animals, leading to neurotic and paranoid behaviour in captive Blue Macaws.

They are also now extinct in the wild.

Please recognize this majestic being and our footprint on the Earth leading to its demise. This is tragic news.

If you don’t love him a lot, please leave me alone.

He is the Yellow Desert Mongoose — sometimes called the Red Meerkat. He is smöl, weighing in at only 1lb averagely, so you must be kind to him.

When threatened by predators, he screams and then farts. Yes, really. But, sometimes it really do be like that.

While comfortable at home in the burrows — where flatulence is no longer necessary, and actually quite rude — he often cohabitates with Cape Ground Squirells or Suricates. Everyone needs a best friend.

But the most important observation of the Yellow Desert Mongoose... is that he’s a hopeless romantic. Their colonies revolve around a mating pair, like a Renee Zellweiger Hallmark special, and succeed in a hierarchy of age from there on.

Let this lil’ bean remind you to keep your friends close, and your loved ones always as important as your survival.

my roots run deeply and feel the earth that surrounds them,

but my petals sway with each passing breeze.

Despite being one of the smallest known species of octopi, the Grimpoteuthis — or Dumbo Octopus — succeeds in being the deepest living of its’ Order. These silly bois hang out in the deep, around 7,000 meters below the sea surface.

That’s, like, Freud deep. That’s “Daddy kink because of my neglectful father” deep.
