Tianshan nation… here’s some of the fic I’m writing that takes place during the recent chap (minus censorship and plus lots of communication!!) 🫶
It all unravelled so easily. All of Mo’s built up anger and frustration, and all of the tension in his body. Every bad feeling started to dissipate with just one tender kiss to his forehead. A kiss just like the one Tian gave Mo under that willow tree all those years ago, when he first tried saying goodbye….
Mo desperately wanted to hang on to his resolve, to demand He Tian say something or listen to how much pain he’d put Mo through by making him believe he might never return. Mo wanted to shout and hit Tian—he already had—but by now he was so tired, and just a hint of that old sweetness they'd shared as teenagers proved enough to make him weak all over again.
He went quiet at the gentle brush of Tian’s lips against his skin, resisting the urge to close his eyes and sink deeper into the mattress, then maybe even pull Tian down to lay with him. But then the contact was over, and Tian was still hovering just above him, quietly looking.
He couldn’t know for sure, but Mo was almost certain Tian’s intense eyes and flushed cheeks mirrored his own expression. He didn’t understand why Tian left him for so long, but with each passing moment it was becoming harder to ignore just how much Tian still cared about him.
They were gazing at each other now with a palpable mix of desire and heartache in the air. As much as Mo wanted to push Tian away and protect his heart from being shattered again, having Tian back and looking at him like that—with all the desperate love they built up as inexperienced kids—made refusing this impossible.
And then Tian was really laying on top of him, lazily nuzzling into his cheek. “Lil Mo,” he drawled. “Just one kiss….”
This will soon be posted on my ao3 which is @sun_monsterz ! I hope to finish writing this fic later this week 💕
