I am writing with a heavy heart because my family and I are going through an extremely difficult and frightening situation.
⚠️ Before the last storm, I felt afraid of what might happen, and unfortunately it came stronger than we could endure
⛺ Our tent was completely torn apart, and everything we owned was flooded and destroyed.
We are now without proper shelter and without blankets. The cold is becoming unbearable, and illness is spreading, especially among my children. I am deeply afraid for their safety. 😭💔💔
Another storm is expected soon, and our situation is very dangerous. 💔

Christianity has deep roots in Palestine – Jesus himself was Palestinian. how can anyone celebrate as his people are dying ? dying without the most basic dignity. buried beneath the rubble. dogs chewing at their bodies.
In Palestine, it wasn't just the holidays that were canceled…the sense of security was canceled, sleep was canceled, and the feeling that tomorrow might be better was canceled. In the land where peace was born, we now live amidst destruction, counting the days not by holidays, but by the number of nights we have survived. Homes have been demolished, streets reduced to rubble, and souls worn down by fear, hunger, and cold.

While browsing the internet, I came across an advertisement from a Gazan offering to build mobile homes (caravans). According to my conversation with him, a unit measuring 18 square meters (6 x 3 meters) costs $7,500 to build. It includes an unfurnished bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom, all ready for use. However, $7,500 is an impossible amount for us under these difficult circumstances.
We urgently need a caravan as a temporary shelter until reconstruction begins and we are able to rebuild our home, God willing.
The current cost of the caravan is $7,500.
This post will remain pinned until we are able to purchase the caravan and provide safe shelter for my children from the cold.

Help a Disabled Gal Get Through December?
So, I had to like do a lot to force myself to do this, and a lot of pride had to be swallowed because I have some things to work on I'll admit. And, I'm- Really bad at asking for help, in general; because I feel like I am taking away from others in need, logical or illogical as that is. Last month I lost my primary source of income due to my boss selling his business, there's no way to sugar coat the situation: I'm kind of fucked. As a trans gal in the middle of the rural US, and a job desert, pickings are slim even after applying to literally everything I am able to do while my doctor and I get everything sorted to try and actually get me on the disability she's been gunning for me to get. Due to having my roommate, rent is thankfully handled, but not quite everything else like utilities; food; gas; and everything else other than the roof over my head. So, I'm asking if you can spare anything, to help a gal out. Literally every little bit helps and will go a long way. And, I thank anyone who can help from the bottom of my heart. I need around $300 to cover every last cost. And, right now, I feel like I need to apologize for even asking for the help in the first place.

I’m so sorry that I’m still in a position where I have to ask for help. But I am. I’m an unemployed transgender woman living in wildly conservative Orange County, CA. I had to leave my job because of consistent transphobic and sexual harassment. And within the last week I’ve found out that my cat has lymphoma. It’s a hard and stressful time, and I’m so broke that I don’t know how I’m going to keep paying for groceries, let alone medication, therapy for cptsd and depression, praying off the phone I had to buy after my old one stopped charging. I recently spoke with my dear friend Suad @suad-khaled and she gave me an update on her life as a displaced mother in south-central Gaza. I want to share with you all some of what she told me:
Our situation has become far worse than before.
My baby, Khaled, who is now 6 months old, depends on formula milk, which is either unavailable or sold at prices I simply cannot afford. Diapers are also ridiculously expensive, and even basic food has become out of reach.
Some vegetables and fruits are available in the market, but I can only afford to buy a single piece at a time, which becomes one meal for Khaled. But what about the rest of the day? What about the following days? As a mother, I can endure hunger, but how can a baby?
Even flour, which we relied on for our basic sustenance, is almost unavailable. The little we managed to buy is infested with bugs and worms, unhealthy but the only option we have left. And now, it’s almost gone. What will we do after that?
Khaled’s health has also worsened. He struggles to breathe due to his chest allergies, a condition that developed under these harsh circumstances. He needs regular nebulizer sessions and medication, but we can barely afford to provide them.

Sifting only removes the largest insects that have made their home in the flour. It does not remove larvae, detached wings, or excrement. Suad and her family are forced to eat them in order to (barely) avoid starvation.
Suad’s situation has never been more dire than it is right now. Food and basic necessities are extremely scarce and expensive. And the threat of IOF attack is omnipresent.
Please, if you can spare anything at all, send something to Suad. We are her and her baby’s best chance at surviving genocide.
