Hey this is weird,

I kinda just remembered today about this blog, it’s been a couple of years since I’ve posted anything on here, so thanks for sticking with me. 

Should I give you updates on my life? Yeeeeaaaah quickly:

hey so I finished art college

yey so I won best in show

instead of carrying on with art I went to durham uni instead to study sociology

instead of doing much of my degree I hang out with friends and do a bit of activism (and still sometimes draw)

but things haven’t changed all that much in my life, despite not being a teenager anymore, I’m still very much angst ridden

So yeah, I’m gonna try and post some more stuff on here of stuff that I’m drawing at the mo/have drawn in the last couple of years that I’m happy with

I designed a number of postcards for a graphic design project where I sent letters and postcards to lighthouses across the UK. It was very fun, I want to do it all over again... but maybe this time with churches...

I tidied my room today (18/07/13) and these are scraps of things that I found on my floor and my desk. Most of it is just 'off cuts' from this notebook, but other bits were cuttings that I saved for later or just rubbish. Now you can get an idea of just how messy my bedroom was. 

Sorry about the blur in the photograph, my notebook doesn't lay flat on the scanner anymore.

I tried to do an image transfer using tape, but it works better using newspaper print. 

Anyway, it's a picture from an old travel magazine I picked up in a charity shop a few years ago.

I saw Parque Courts at Green Man Festival last weekend. It was the best and it was also my birthday and therefore it was the best birthday. 

I listened to their album on the bus on the way home (after doing some research for my art project) yesterday and felt like drawing.

This is my finished mask for Green Man festival. I also wore it with a bunny tail, which I can't find right now. 

I had a lot of fun doing this, but have left myself with only two weeks to do my whole summer project for art college. 

Oh dear. 

But I had an amazing time, and watched the whole of Midlake's set in this mask. So I pretty much had the best birthday ever. 

So sorry for my absence, I hope that now I've started my art project I will be able to post a lot more of my work on here!
