“It didn’t bite you, did it?” she asked, looking from the spider to the girl. Her latter comment immediately caught her attention – she wasn’t sure if it was a joke or not. But still, sometimes people just needed someone to listen to them. “Are you okay?”

“I don’t think so.” she said lifting her arm and examining it a bit closer. She gave a slight shrug at the girls next words. “Eh, I’m fine. I’m just saying, people die all the time, its not really that big of a deal anymore I guess.”

“The red what now?” Jenna didn’t wait for an explanation, she was already swatting the damn thing off her arm. “I don’t know but red usually means dangerous. And I’m not risking it.”

“The red hourglass, on the bottom.” she said pointing with her other hand. She stared at the spot where the spider had been for a couple of seconds before giving a small shrug. “Eh, what’s the worst that could’ve happened? Me dying?”

Lilith quirked an eyebrow, looking down at the spider crawling on her arm. “Oh uh-sorry, I was uh-yeah sorry.” she replied, observing the spider as it crawled down her arm. “I don’t think its poisonous. The red hourglass means safe right?”

“Please help me. They arrested me!” Lilith whispered into the stolen comlink, her voice high-pitched and terrified. She’d already been captured once by an organization that wanted to control her and wasn’t planning on being here long, she had to get out or she’d lose her mind. “Listen I’m being held at their main facility, these prisons are crazy, I can’t even use my powers in this room.” she glanced over her shoulder to make sure no one was coming. “Do you think you can help?”
