James! Are you alright?! You’re a fool.
Sebastian Stan | Destroyer (2018)
Thor: Ragnarok (2017) // Men in Black: International (2019)
Riverdale season 3 and with the blue lips thing this is all i can think about
I can’t be the only one
I’m not late. I’m here to prove something.
Diana and Mera don’t have to compete against each other. They don’t have to make Flashpoint to get them together.
Diana and Mera don’t hate each other.
1. Aquaman Annual: Born of Giants
This is from Aquaman Annual Vol. 7 #2. Diana and Mera team up and fight together against these monsters.
It’s canon, it’s not an alternative universe.
They look like they do know each other, but it’s been a long time since the last time they met.
2. Mera: Queen of Atlantis
Superman and Wonder Woman go to visit Mera because Aquaman is not showing up because he’s dealing with Corum Rath in Atlantis, while Mera can’t come back. Diana acts as a friend once she discovers what’s going on with Mera.
This is a lot of after Born of Giants and the issue from Justice League that I mention later in this post, but it’s the same timeline.
Canon and not AU.
3. DC’s Bombshells
This is an alternative universe, so it’s not canon in the main timeline. But Patty Jenkins (dir. Wonder Woman) used part of the story that introduces Steve Trevor in the film. So, why can’t they do tha same with Diana and Mera’s relationship?
In this one, Mera and Diana are old friends and they share a very interesting past. They team up and fight along.
4. Justice League
Mera is not having a great time in Justice League Vol. 3 #24 and guess who is the person who cares the most about her. Exactly, Diana.
This is canon, not from an alternative universe.
5. Aquaman Annual: Crownspire
This one is very short, it’s from Aquaman Annual: Crownspire. It would be a spoiler, so I’ll say that it’s not really canon. But Diana and Mera are still presented as friends, very old friends.
As you have seen, they aren’t enemies. They are usually presented as friends. And I have more and more examples, but they’re just tiny details.
So, stop.
They don’t have to kill each other to appear in the same film.
Is filming a movie about space great because you get to wear socks all the time?
After reading one (1) black widow comic,,,, maybe i do ship buckynat 🤔🤔hmm
this smells black widow: the name of the rose (and if it turns out i’m correct 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ everybody comes out of that comic shipping buckynat, can’t be helped tbh)
Injustice: Year Two #24 - “World’s End” (2014)
written by Tom Taylor art by Bruno Redondo, Xermanico, Juan Albarran, Julien Hugonnard-Bert, & J. Nanjan
so sebastian really rather have buckynat than the mantle of captain america… he really….is… bucky barnes
Go. Live your dream.
Tangled (2010)
I think the main reason why Joss Whedon is famous as a “feminist” and Zack Snyder is not is because the differences when it comes to how they’re promoting their ideals both in movies and in real life. in Joss Whedon’s movies women are the same troubled side characters with little distinction included in few minutes of badass fight scenes to make them noticeable & appealing to the general audience. In Zack Snyder films, women have real personalities; they can be vulnerable but fight ferociously to protect their loved ones, they can be feeble on the outside but strong on the inside, and most importantly they have proper character development. Lois Lane in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman is more than a great example.
In real life, too; Joss Whedon is really outspoken about how he thinks he empowers women in his films. On the other hand, Zack Snyder doesn’t lash out at critics even when they get the message he’s trying to send completely wrong, like about how women fight back against their abusers in Sucker Punch. He quietly but boldly and properly depicts women equally in his films and it’s understandable how sometimes people misinterpret his intentions.
I mean I’m sure it’s absolutely nothing but I makes me really happy for some reason that just before the BW movie might start filming in the next few months Sebastian’s hair is looking just like the way @chrissamnee draws Bucky’s WS hair 👀

In time, you will know what it’s like to lose. To feel so desperately that you’re right. Yet to fail all the same. Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.
