Set up microphone on a mic stand with a cradle
Put pop shield in front of microphone
Ran xlr from the microphone into the back of the desk
Phantom power to microphone (48v)
Go into imput 1 of the desk
Set the output to run into madi output 1
Logic reads input 1 from the madi cable
Within logic audio chack its recording into input 1
Check recording level, gain levels ect
Arm the track (press r)
Record until perfect

bad acoustic qualities of the studio space -

-cover the walls (ie blacks)

I went in the studio with Dan smith and recorded the end of the show monologue. we recorded it 3 times cut up into 3 section to make sure we had the best possible quality. i added a small amount of reverb to make it more fitting to the room it was played in. i did this withmlogic audio pro and a Samsung co1 condensing microphone.
