Transformers IDW/MTMTE Fic Ideas (that may or may not've been mentioned on the blog):

A rapidly escalating prank war between Swerve, Anode, and Misfire on the Lost Light, post-LL ("good" ending). Shoot Shoot Bang Bang would somehow be incorporated at one point. Lug, the Scavengers, and several patrons of the bar would be featured.

The Swagnus + Cygate crack fic with Ten and Whirl. Outside of the fic being fun in general, Ten and Whirl would have an interesting dynamic IMO.

Also the fic of Swerve being threatened at the bar and the patrons stopping in their tracks to defend him. Swerve is Weasel-coded and Whirl is Wade Wilson-coded.

Angsty Nautiskids with Nautica dealing with the repercussions of repressing her feelings for Skids, post-LL. I don't recall that case being resolved unless someone can correct me (I mostly remember Skids appearing as an illusion to her in that one panel ow ow ow lol). It reminds me of those Hanahaki disease scenarios, where the person has to choose to either die, to confess to their romantic interest, or to have the flowers surgically removed, along with their feelings for them.

Megatron and Terminus, literally anything about them. Thinking of just doing a " _ times Megatron thought of Terminus and 1 time Terminus thought of Megatron" (pre, during, and post war) type of thing. Would emphasize the closeness, then the distance, then the closeness when they meet again.

Terraria x Transformers crossover AU, not sure how it would go exactly, maybe sort of a G1 style where they crash but instead of Earth it's Terraria? I haven't played the game in a long time, so it would be a very later thing to write if I were to replay it.

Nightbeat and Swerve watching detective shows together, or, to expand on it, Swerve watching shows with others, catered to several crew members' tastes after the whole Swearth incident. Would include a lot of sleepovers and fluff.

Something with Rung/Nightbeat and them dancing, and Nightbeat going from hating slash being averse to dancing to sort of tolerating it, to only liking it when it's with Rung. Self-indulgent. Thinking it could take place in the afterlife, post-LL. Though, dancing together in the afterlife would call for the existential angst tag. 😁

Thinking about Swerve's wavering religious faith and how it likely fostered his idolization of Blurr, with the minibot using the racer as a way to fill the void of what devotion he used to have.

This is probably an obscure take, but Rung in MTMTE and the Guide from Terraria resemble each other a lot. This post is for me, myself, and the one person that can see the vision. My evidence:

Both of them are connected to a higher power and legend (The Guiding Hand vs. Order of the Guide)

Their origins are mysterious, so neither of them give/have a concrete explanation as to who they are or what actual their age is

They are the chosen one for something ("all hail the useless one" in The Functionist Universe, or just Rung being a god/the matrix-maker in general vs. "the chosen one whose soul is linked with the world's guardian himself")

The characters are heavily connected to their IRL creator in some way (James Roberts, writer of MTMTE vs. Andrew Spinks (aka Redigit), the lead developer of Terraria.)

Their personalities are more humble and mellow, and they prioritize guiding those in need (psychiatrist vs. mentor)

Their life is sacrificed ("Don't forget me" vs. doll sacrifice), and a new predecessor or group - of striking resemblance - takes their place, even with everyone else seeming to forget/not notice (Lunarians vs. new Guide after fighting WoF)

Crackfic idea: Ten shipping Swagnus and Whirl shipping Cygate + them being fans together

Ten & Whirl encounter each other on an anonymous Lost Light forum, to which they start talking about their "OTPs." It ends up being a sort of dramatic irony mystery with them trying to figure out who the other mech is.

On one side, Whirl will defend Cygate to the grave – nothing is wrong with either party and he will attack anyone who disagrees. On the other side, Ten really doesn't like that he likes Swagnus, and it started out as a guilt/hate ship that eventually escalated into genuinely imagining his abusive boss and his friend crush together 😂

Ten isn't fond of Swerve, so, after the bartender offhandedly mentioned having wanted to invite Ultra Magnus to be his roommate (including stumbling over himself when talking about Hedonia), the employee could not imagine it – he experienced full on disbelief (that couldn't be verbalized), and he ended up thinking about how ridiculous the notion was, for cycles. But, as he kept thinking about it + seeing some interactions between them... he eventually sees the vision later. Is he happy about it? No. Is he going to draw them together? Absolutely.

Headcanon that Nightbeat was either introduced to Luther/Sherlock by Swerve OR Swerve caught Nightbeat watching the shows secretly (after the bartender casually mentioned them). They then bond over other human detective-based shows/media, even if briefly... And then that's eventually what influences Nightbeat's holomatter avatar in the Swearth issue, a slight show of sentimentality even if not intentional,

leading to the related headcanon of Swerve being the type to often relate the crew to characters and start conversations with: "Hey, you know what character you remind me of?"

Swerve and the Lost Light but it's that Deadpool bar scene where Weasel gets threatened and the whole place goes silent and everyone stands to aim at the aggressors.

The minibot already has a loose/cheeky mouth when they first arrive (out of nervous habit) but he then gets to act more cocky after seeing that the crew has his back and that his bar is literally a safe space for him... though whether he realizes that in an emotional sense is another story 😁
