I’ve always wanted to see one of those “things I refuse to tattoo” posts and then you open the list of things and it’s just a picture of a little guy and the tattoo artist going “this guy I hate his guts I will never tattoo him on anyone”.
Like do we see the vision.
I’ve been slightly defeated by a print I was working on, so I drew this beautiful lady to cheer myself up.
Happy make a terrible comic day! I think this one’s actually alright!
Hentai is vegan pornography and I will not be elaborating on this thought.
Met a bard-lock daredevil last night. A real Evel Knivel type.
His warlock pact was with an archfey, who found the whole stuntman thing very entertaining. He got warlock powers and a bonus healing spell, and the only thing she asked for in return was a reserved seat in the front row at every performance. I was sitting next to her while he tried a high speed tuck-and-roll kind of maneuver.
I flinched when he wiped out and she just grinned at me and said “Did he just lose teeth? And he’s a charisma caster? Amazing.”
Shout out to that one week in 2020 where I got really obsessed with making breadgehogs (hedgehogs made of bread, of course). Really helped maintain my sanity in a controlled demolition sort of way.
I call this one:
“Why My Harengon Ranger Will Not Be Attempting Any Intimidation Checks”
Part 2 of “hey, what’s up with those scars?”
<< Part 1 here
Answering a question about my Harengon ranger’s background, in the form of a comic.
The question being, “Hey, what’s up with those scars?”

Guys! It is time for the Annual Naming of the Bee.
We get a territorial male Carpenter bee each year who claims our deck and keeps the wasps and hornets at bay. It looks like this lil champ has claimed us this year and it’s now time to name him!
We’ve had Woodrow Bee Wilson and Buzz Aldrin. What do you think we should name this one?
Drawing people is not my forte, but we had so much fun in our last dnd session I was compelled to document it.
Did some sketches of Gwenna and her family. Gwenna is my DnD character, a Harengon Ranger. She is a whaler/fisher for a living, and accidentally got mixed up with an adventuring party. They all think she’s a pirate and she prefers it that way.
Corvin is Gwenna’s fiance and firmer co-captain. Alas, he has passed away from complications of being in a PC’s backstory.
Logan is Gwenna’s uncle, a captain in the merchant marine and very much invested in getting his niece home safely.
I’m nearing completion on materials testing and nailing down a repeatable process for printmaking, so now I’m thinking about what’s next. I think my first series of prints (not just one off ideas) is going to be documenting the beauty and interconnectedness of rare and unusual ecosystems.
I want to paint a puma stalking through the canebreaks, the amargosa niterwort flourishing near serpentine waters, the wildflowers of the Alabama limestone barrens.
What are your favorite unusual ecologies?
Had a dream last night where a guy asked an elf princess for a lock of her hair to bind the hilt of his sword. She gave it gladly, but was mightily offended when he chopped it up fine and sprinkled it on some duct tape.
My dog modeled for our wedding thank you cards and she is SO CUTE. I am looking at these and missing intaglio printing. We only did it for a unit in high school but it was so much fun.
Bros will tell you they’re thinking about the Roman Empire when THIS kind of drama exists right under their noses.
(I like taking pictures of moss, lichen, and fungi battling for dominance but I can never figure out who to share it with)
