“Florida City”
Wooden picture frame, photography
With the photo frame piece I wanted to display the memories of the Florida City I remember when I was younger. Within the frame it’s this idealistic view of what Florida City is like but around you can see the changes that are happening. Within the frame you see this “perfect” view of the location but if you make a wrong turn somewhere you will see the “real” Florida City, not the one advertised to be.
“Battle Scars”
Ceramic Plates, Duct tape
With the plates piece I wanted to create a visual representation of the changes that occur and the damages that sometimes occur in ones lifetime. But when injuries are inflicted one has to heal and what is left behind are scars. So with these shattered plates being mended you see the cracks that are left behind. Putting them on display as battle scars.

plastic twist in nature
my research and idea was based on the way Matt Serra presents an idea or feeling of something falling on the viewer and also the way how Andy Golthworthy using natural element with an organic movement or flow but my intentions were to use plastic bottles as a commonly everyday used item thrown away and causing more harm to nature in the long run.
bottle tree
plastic bottle are dispense through out the world and well and pine tree at the end of the year, so many tree are chopped down and sold to decorate a seasonal holiday that last up to a month in the house hold and then thrown away as garbage just like plastic bottle once used then thrown out.
SELF-DIRECTED PRACTICE #2: RESEARCH
DESCRIPTION: Performance art involving the destruction of hyper-feminine articles of clothing, accessories, and other various symbols.
CONCEPTUAL INTENT:
By destroying objects, or articles of clothing, relating to femininity the artist presents to the audience a total rejection of convention. In performing this piece, the artist seeks to sever all ties to womanhood.
SELF-DIRECTED PRACTICE #2: RESEARCH
DESCRIPTION: Similarly to the previous concept, but more specific; a floral-print chair is destroyed with fermented fruits, wine, and berries (all sweet and bitter).
CONCEPTUAL INTENT:
Rather than forcibly cut all ties to womanhood, the artist rejects that femininity which has closed the door upon their ability to connect to it. Using various food-related items, the artist unleashes the bitterness they experience in relation to the blockage in their psyche.
SELF-DIRECTED PRACTICE #2: RESEARCH
DESCRIPTION: A short and simple stroll around, asking strangers if they hate me.
CONCEPTUAL INTENT:
This more to evoke some humor in my life than any particular sort of deep exploration of my feelings. Unwise on account of COVID, though.
TO REMOVE THE WORK IS TO DESTROY IT: SITE-BASED SCULPTURE : RESEARCH
DESCRIPTION: An altar— typically where one might place photographs of deceased loved ones, candles, and offerings— with scarves, pieces of knit fabric, and sweaters draped over the frames in front of lit candles.
CONCEPTUAL INTENT:
The artist confronts the aspect of “offering” to the altar by way of making offering with the intention to cause disrespect. Covering photos of loved ones, dead or alive, is commonly seen as a slight against them whether they be dead or alive.
