Finally finished my first Korean daily drama

And it was worth it! So I watched Ugly Alert starring Lim Ju Hwan and Kang So Ra. This drama also featured Choi Tae Joon and Shin So Yul, and I fell in love with these two. There are 133 episodes, should you wish to embark upon this journey. It’s heartbreaking at the beginning, but so compelling and you will be rewarded with lots of cuteness when you get through the tears! All villain like characters are redeemed or given hope of redemption and that always feels nice when done well. All I wanted was to see Lim Ju Hwan in a starring role where he gets the girl and this drama delivered with a cherry on top.

I feel like this ship could two very different ways. They could either be really cute and goofy, laughing at each other’s jokes and giggling when the other is embarrassing themselves. Or they could be a killer couple, like a evil power couple. All hot and tall, like models, ruthless. They are both so versatile. I love the possibility. Also, they were in Frozen Flower together, so that’s neat.

The Edge

Hye Ran ( Song Ji Hyo ) is a successful career woman. She is fiercely protective of her independence and works as an accountant for a rich corporation led by her idol, Choo Ja ( Park Jun Keum ). Sung Hyun ( Lim Ju Hwan ) has led the life of a loyal dog for a long time. His efforts have finally paid of. He gets promoted. He has many lovers. He becomes interested in his superior, Hye Ran. A thrilling game begins between them.
