I miss who I am with you.
Promise me you’ll never stop dreaming.
We were trying to grow up as fast as we could, what a stupid idea that was. ~ álice l.
You know... That day, after the du set we drove off and ended up buying alcohol and cigarettes and we sat there until 4am talking listening to our friends story about when he almost got arrested in Columbia. We talked about breakups and relationships. We kind of told each other everything because it didn’t matter. The night was soon gone and with it the stories too.
Usually, I write a lot. I write notes in my phone, I write poems in notebooks. I write stories or songs. It’s a game for me - combining words in the most perfect way to tell a story as powerful as I possibly can. For the last few months I haven’t done that. I haven’t written a word. I was caught up in what we’re all caught up in.
Ever since I took this photo, I’ve been writing again. Watching this little girl chasing the seagulls made me go back to the place where I come to play. To see her feet barely touching the ground made me want to write all the stories I know. Watching her play made me want to play. Watching her laugh made me want to laugh.
