I know I have Edmonton followers on here so here is your PSA as the darkness closes in on us once again:

The Muttart Conservatory sells annual passes for $55. It pays for itself in 4 visits per year. This is a game changer because it means you don't have to make your visit worthwhile, you can literally just LRT there on your lunch break or whatever for 15 minutes and smell some dirt and leave.

Also if you go at night (they're open till 9 on Wednesdays and Thursdays), you can't actually do anything silly like "see plants", but they have these random colored movie set-looking lights in the tropical pyramid so you can pretend you're the velociraptor in Jurassic Park and secretly hunt someone for sport. theres no losing
