Meryl Streep Outfits and the Star Wars Costumes That Inspired Them (✗)
Hey! I made these! I know this isn’t Star Trek, IT’S YOUR ENEMY, STAR WARS, but I’m sure some of you will enjoy it. Here’s the link to the full post, which I created. The real crime is that when coconutmilk83 “borrowed” these from me, zie left off the BEST ONE, which is Bib Fortuna.
There is literally no gif as perfect as this one

Plug It On The Window
The Window Socket offers a neat way to harness solar energy and use it as a plug socket. So far we have seen solutions that act as a solar battery backup, but none as a direct plug-in. Simple in design, the plug just attaches to any window and does its job intuitively.

Supersonic Visits: Joel Daniel Phillips.
San Francisco based artist Joel Daniel Phillips creates life-size portraits of homeless individuals. Often developing friendships with his subjects, he takes their story and molds it into the resulting work.
One such example is the work Phillips is currently working on. While talking to and photographing the man, the individual asked Phillips if he saw the horse standing behind him. At that very moment Phillips noticed the scent of alfalfa in the air, a common ingredient in horse feed, and felt the presence of the horse just as the man was seeing it. For the man’s portrait Phillips has placed a horse into the scene, creating a dimension of surrealism and beauty to the hard truth of the homeless man’s life.
I had the pleasure of visiting Joel’s studio during my stay in San Francisco for SEI3.
